I never said that. But I DID predict that you would get nothing from it. And I was damn well right. The part I don't get is that you'll do it all again.
The part I don't get is that you'll do it all again.
The problem is people voted for Trump, then turned around and re-elected guys like Cocaine Mitch.
The problem is ALL of it.The thing you are working for, fighting for, are the unmovable principles to the three (really four) factions of Conservatism. When's the last time any of it got any service?Y'all are satisfied with nothing... For thirty damn years. Might be y'all are doing it wrong.
Stolen slogans do not make a political heir.
I'm not happy with either one of them. Both miserably failed us. Why is there no freedom-loving, fiscally conservative, sane American able to get to the Presidency?
Fiscal conservatism starts with Congress @jmyrlefuller Good luck.
One veto of any debt ceiling bill and/or cromnibus/budget will bring fiscal spending to a screeching halt.
(getting out my megaphone)..... because we chose Trump in 2016 we now have Biden!!!
Must be nice to be so pure.
Why don't you stop making baseless allegations? Biden is turning out to be the worst president in American history. But because people like you love Trump so much, Biden is now the president. The failure of people like to understand why Trump was so disliked and could lose to a tool like Biden is I guess beyond your comprehension. Few people like to vote for a jerk. Trump is a king-sized jerk. Many millions of people who might have liked his policies couldn't stand him. Because he was a jerk then and still is.
But what if Trump actually succeeded, in that the movement he inspired took root. The problem was that all movements start with One Man, it takes time for that movement to expand, and the bottom line is, Trump winning a second term would have helped this movement, so it could eventually go beyond Trump. Now, we're right back to Square One. It never was going to happen quickly.
First, RESPECT.BUTThat sounds rather messianic. Reagan was not one man. Reagan had force behind him because the Goldwater wing was behind him and strong enough to give him a hammer. It was not populism that gave him weight. It was coalition. After that fact, THEN his populism.
This is not the day to do this. Can we stop?
