Not really, I'm following your point. A purely masculine government you end up with the Taliban. A feminine dominant one you end up flying gay pride flags from your foreign embassies. Maggie Thatcher's style was very masculine IMO.
I lived in UK during Falklands.

Maggie was more driven and effective than Reagan.

Bottom line:  It's is idiocy of the highest order to pull out the troops before evacuating the US Citizens and the local Afghan Allies.

Now we don't even know how many Americans are in country.
It's not idiocy.

It is cold-blooded murder and should be tried as such before a court of law.

@skeeter

Thanks for the clarification.

I agree.

Hell,I even remember some of the British press writing about "How good it is to have a real man in charge again."

Giving them hi-grade weapons, now supplying them with cash.

What could go wrong?

Jill Biden knew Joe wasn’t capable of being President.  The whole family knew.   Their selfish motives   for encouraging and allowing this Buffoon on the world stage should haunt them forever.
Jill did it to get the new drapes in she picked out, and for the photo ops.

don’t forget she got rid of the presidential seal doorknobs trump had installed, too. Mission accomplished. The rest is unimportant.

Hmmm.... Joan of Arc?

@Fishrrman

Well,Joan of Arc was a warrior,not a politician.

There were a couple of English queens that were nobody to fool with, though. I can't remember the names, but one was a tiny little thing that took no crap from anyone.

What we are really talking about is actual leadership, which is something that seems to be punished these days instead of rewarded. And anyone that thinks leadership is exclusive to males is a fool.

Seems like most people want people in charge these days that they can ridicule and feel superior too, even though most of them are inferior to their pets when it comes to being useful.

House Armed Services Chair Smith: Biden Admin. ‘Didn’t Listen to the Intelligence’ and ‘Didn’t Plan Better’ on Afghanistan Withdrawal

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hallie Jackson Reports,” House Armed Services Committee Chairman Adam Smith (D-WA) said “the Biden administration didn’t listen to the intelligence more carefully and didn’t plan better” for the withdrawal from Afghanistan, “and we’re now seeing the result of that.” He added, “the planning could have been better. And I don’t think anyone can objectively look at that and reach a different conclusion.”

Smith began by saying, “The decision to get out of Afghanistan, I think, makes sense for many of the reasons that President Biden has said. And to some degree, the rapid collapse of the Afghan National Security Forces and the Afghan government sort of makes the point that we could have stayed another year, another five, another ten, another fifteen, and the result wouldn’t have been different.”

He continued, “The thing that’s really troubling is that the Biden administration didn’t listen to the intelligence more carefully and didn’t plan better. I mean, when we first started doing hearings on the anticipated decision of the Biden administration to withdraw from Afghanistan in January and February, many members on our committee, including me, asked the Pentagon what their plan was to get our supporters out of Afghanistan. And the initial answers that we got from the Pentagon were, well, the State Department is handling that. We were like, okay, but it’s a security thing. They’re going to need you. And we really didn’t get great answers. Now, as you know, we in Congress have been pushing from that time. We passed a couple of pieces of legislation to increase the number of visas. We have been pushing for that plan. And sadly, that’s what was missing from this withdrawal plan, was to make sure that our security forces were there to protect the people that we needed to get out. … So, they did not listen to the intelligence as much as they should have, and they didn’t plan as much for getting the civilians out as they should have. That’s the bottom line, and we’re now seeing the result of that.”

Biteme got exactly what the marxists wanted.... to get us out of Afghanistan with enough time for the chaos to settle down before the election so the marxists can claim victory.  This was the plan, just not the plan everyone else wanted.

You're exactly right, skeeter.
They didn't call Mrs. Thatcher "The Ice Lady" for nuthin'...

She was "one in a million" ... no... "one in one hundred million".
We will not see the likes of her again.
You are only saying that because she was on "our side".
There are others out there, as cold, calculating, and evil as any man ever was.

Biden Pentagon: Unkown How Many Americans Trapped in Afghanistan
https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2021/08/19/biden-pentagon-unknown-how-many-americans-trapped-afghanistan/

Maybe the unknown number would benefit from being called "Undocumented Americans" and given all the rights and cash illegal aliens are entitled to.

This disaster is what happens when you believe your own propaganda and think the Media has your back no matter what.
It is what happens when you are assured the optics will be cheesecaked and airbrushed to produce a centerfold for the next campaign, and someone counts on that rather than accomplishing the task at hand.

Among adults, we get the job done, and let the results do the talking.

But, in this case, this incredible disconnect from the real world of logistics and consequence, some straw contains too much manure for even the  gifted Rumpelstiltskins of the MSM to spin it into gold. The monstrous result of the endemic disease of putting the cart before the horse, relying on wishes instead of real world data, and hubris, will rear its ugly head from the depths, scatter the escort vessels of the sycophant media fleet, and make straight for the capital ship of state.
This administration has torpedoed itself, and in doing so has made the Country appear weaker, harmed the cause of freedom on the world stage, and abandoned untold numbers to misery and death.
Rather than putting up another smokescreen, the media should be abandoning this vessel, like fleas jumping from the chilling carcass of a roadkill coyote, and seeking their next host, preferably one with some integrity and not as false as water.
