Good point.  Important point.   Trump's quest at this point is without virtue.   He had every right to fight up until when the states certified their electors, and he did.   But I honestly thought he would concede, grudgingly if not graciously,  at that point.   That he is trying to take the next step to rouse the mob with cooked-up tales to storm the citadel,  he has crossed the line.   He is a dying beast in his last days crying for scorched earth.

Nine times out of ten @jafo2010 I really enjoy reading your posts ... but here I couldn't get past the first line.  It's as though the past eight weeks haven't happened.  Before our very eyes the Democrats stole the White House and the Senate --- openly and without resistance from our elected leaders.  Venezuela is laughing at us.  Moscow is laughing at us.  China is busy writing checks but will laugh last and laugh best.

What will insure the Democrats maintain power is the sanctioning by both parties of the blatant, provable theft of the American democratic, one legal vote per citizen as enumerated in the US Constitution.

Now is the precise time we need a third party.  We did one that can fight the corruption the Democrats and Republicans are swimming in.  Now a third party is our only hope.

In my state, that question was resolved,  not to my liking but nevertheless resolved as a matter of law,  by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.   There is no Constitutional violation.   The states are sovereign entities.   The Congress has no authority to usurp my state's rules, processes and sovereignty.   No I didn't like what the Court did, but your solution -  disenfranchise my vote in favor of Congress' preference - is far more dangerous and destructive of federalism.
