Trump thinks the judiciary cannot be trusted to reveal the massive fraud that he says denied him a second term.

Explaining the need to swiftly replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with Amy Coney Barrett this fall, Donald Trump said the Court likely would have to rule on disputes about the presidential election. "I think this will end up in the Supreme Court," he told reporters on September 23. "And I think it's very important that we have nine justices….This scam that the Democrats are pulling…will be before the United States Supreme Court. And I think having a 4–4 situation is not a good situation, if you get that. I don't know that you'd get that. I think it should be 8–nothing or 9–nothing. But just in case it would be more political than it should be, I think it's very important to have a ninth justice."

In Trump's view, a ruling against his campaign would be "more political than it should be," while a ruling in which Barrett voted the way the president who picked her wanted her to vote would be untainted by politics. That counterintuitive view looked even more dubious after Barrett's confirmation, when Trump warned the justices that siding with Biden in a post-election case would threaten their status and power. "If Sleepy Joe Biden is actually elected President," he tweeted, "the 4 Justices (plus1) that helped make such a ridiculous win possible would be relegated to sitting on not only a heavily PACKED COURT, but probably a REVOLVING COURT as well."

Trump thought Barrett should dance with the one that brought her. But in case that argument was not persuasive enough, he argued that it was in her personal and professional interest to prevent Biden from taking office. In the end, however, Barrett joined the rest of the Court, including Trump's two other nominees and three justices appointed by Republicans George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, in declining to hear two cases that sought to overturn Biden's victory.

He's right. In the face of original jurisdiction, they turned down the case. Cowardice, dereliction of duty, and failure to uphold the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold.

If growing your own grain for personal use can be construed to be covered under the interstate commerce clause, then the court should have taken up the case. Any State affected by the outcome of a nationwide election altered by fraudulent or illegal activities in another State should have standing.

REGARDLESS of what Trump wants, there are at least 75,000,000 voters out here who want elections to be conducted without fraud. That is part and parcel of the duty of the SCOTUS, to uphold fair elections: anything different from one legal voter, one vote, is to deny equal protection under the law.

Considering the Constitution specifies that the Legislatures of the several States shall set their election laws, the changing of those laws by non Legislative actors, from Mayors and Governors to election board supervisors is a de facto violation of that Constitutional delegation of power. All of the jurisdictions in which fraud has been pointed out also changed those rules unconstitutionally to enable that fraud.
SCOTUS has a DUTY to rule on that fundamental and egregious violation, not only of the Constitution, but of the Rights of every legal voter involved in a national election.

I still cannot understand why any American would want anything less than an honest election.

Unless, that is, they are so wrapped up in getting something they want that the process has no meaning for them and the Rights of the rest of us are of no matter. If that is the case, sir, I can dispassionately state that you are my enemy, and an enemy of this Republic.

Only those who do not grasp the full, chilling affect of this Supreme Court's decision on the last hope of the rule of law in this country would ridicule the President's opinion of their action.  Unfortunately, these same souls are aligned with those unable to see the precedent this decision sets affecting more than one administration, one presidency, one man.

The decision, in full:

The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.

Seven members of the US Supreme Court pissed on the Constitution in one sentence and forever changed its established role. 

To claim a state - plus 20 who joined the suit - do not have standing in the Electoral College is incomprehensively incorrect --- they are the ones who automatically do.  Further, to deny a plaintiff-state a hearing in its court of original jurisdiction is a capricious, blatant and stunning repudiation of Article III, Section II of the United States Constitution.

In one sentence the US Supreme Court declared itself a political entity and the very words of the US Constitution moot upon demand.   This should make the blood of every American run cold.

SCOTUS failed to do their job, miserably so.

But hey, who here actually believes we live in a country with justice as a possible outcome?  Really?

I believe SCOTUS has REVERSED roughly 25 times or so decisions they have made from prior years and priors SCOTUS courts.  What does that tell you exactly?  It should tell you they are not infallible.  They screw the pooch with some level of regularity on some rather important issues!

There is no doubt there was massive cheating with the POTUS election.  That mechanism has not been dealt with, so expecting something different in 2024 is very naive.  In fact, that being the way things are, there are folks who will not bother voting in Georgia knowing their vote does not matter in Georgia.  Fair and honest elections may well have gone the route of an extinct species.  Poof!  Gone!!!

Look at Venezuela and Russia, and that is where we have been headed for some time.
