Senate Control Depends on Two Georgia Runoffs, Pro-Life Groups Will Fight Hard to Win Them
National   Micaiah Bilger   Nov 5, 2020   |   4:07PM    Washington, DC

In the ever-changing election chaos, the Republican majority in the U.S. Senate is now in jeopardy.

If pro-abortion Democrat Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats take control of the Senate, there would be nothing to stop them from passing radical pro-abortion laws that allow unborn babies to be aborted for any reason up to birth and force taxpayers to fund their deaths. Democrat leaders also could pack the U.S. Supreme Court with activist judges who would keep abortion on demand legal for decades.

Initial election results indicated that Republicans would maintain their narrow majority in the Senate, but the AP reports the situation has changed.

“One race in Georgia is headed to a January runoff. A second contest in Georgia and races in North Carolina and Alaska remain undecided, leaving the chamber now deadlocked 48-48. An outcome may not be known until the new year,” according to the report.

Georgia U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s race against pro-abortion Democrat Raphael Warnock is headed into a runoff in January because neither candidate received more than 50 percent of votes. New results suggest fellow U.S. Sen. David Perdue of Georgia also may face a runoff against pro-abortion Democrat Jon Ossoff.
