@PeteS in CA You can keep listing all these actions for every month -- some of which I still say may have occurred without his involvement or maybe even his knowledge -- but those lists do not mitigate what he has said and done (or didn't do) in public. I notice you didn't address the things he said and did (or didn't do) which I discussed some posts back -- downplaying the severity of the virus, hijacking his task force's briefings, contradicting the experts on that task force, pushing a drug of dubious effectiveness and safety, trying to force schools to open when they aren't ready and the failure of his son-in-law to deliver supplies and equipment to hospitals and first responders.
I suppose Trump publicly downplays the seriousness of the virus as his way of reassuring the public. But when the public hears him say things like, kids don't get COVID, then they read stories like the one I read today about the woman who lost both her young daughters to COVID, these people are far from reassured. Actually, they believe he is lying. In any event, what he says and what he does on camera is not at all reassuring. It is not guidance. It's all a bunch of BS.
