Biden plots the destruction of public education:
Quote
Corey A. DeAngelis  @DeAngelisCorey
Biden's team is considering picking the president of a teachers union for education secretary.

"For education secretary, Biden’s team is focused on finding someone with experience in primary or secondary education, according to one Biden ally familiar with the search process [...] One possible Biden pick is Randi Weingarten, the head of the American Federation of Teachers"

The former president of the nation's largest teachers union is also being considered.

That is AWESOME!  The population of the entire town can't be more than 40k.  Huge carpet industry nearby that is wholly dependent upon petroleum-based raw materials.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

@sneakypete All I know is, it seems all my friends seem to be retiring to someplace in NC. We visited two of them last year near Wilmington.

 I see Carrboro is near Chapel Hill, a university town, so I suspect there are a lot of liberal loonies there - and very few people to object to Black Panthers or BLM or any other Commie group intimidating voters at the polling places.

@mountaineer

Seems like I remember a leftist indoctrination center in NC (Winston-Salem?) a couple of decades ago that had the blacks and the CPUSA holding some sort of major event declaring it to be a communist  reserve of some type (details have faded) that was off-limits to everyone else,and the KKK drove in and fired a bunch of them up.

I am definitely no fan of the KKK and never was,but have to admit that was one time I stood up and cheered them on tv as I saw them chasing the black radicals and their white masters down the streets.

Sometimes a movement or group exists entirely because they know better than to push buttons.

DJT should do very well in southwestern Pa., thanks to Slow Joe's proposed ban on oil, gas and coal production. Philadelphia/southeastern Pa. is the sketchiest part of the state, so that's an encouraging headline.

Just voted 'early' here in Montgomery County, Maryland this morning.

In-and-out in fifteen minutes.  No line going in....when I left, the line went out the building.

The most beautiful irony of this most difficult election is that @realDonaldTrump may be re-elected because of minority voters -- and after his opponent ran on him supposedly being a white supremacist. DAMN!

I just checked the forecasts in Chicago,Detroit,and NYC,and it's supposed to be warm and clear in all of them.

I was hoping for snow ass-deep to a tall Indian,60 mph winds from the north,and sleet to keep the ghetto rats away from the polls.

Not that they really need to vote in person,but still.........

@PollWatch2020

We were expecting Trump would be around 46-48% in presidential approval for the election.

That he's in the 50-52 range going into Election Day has surprised us a little.

Democracy Institute: 52%
Gravis: 52%
Rasmussen Reports: 52%
The Hill/Harris X: 49%
Gallup: 46%
