I never thought I would see so many buildings here in the nation’s capital boarded-up on the eve of a presidential election in anticipation of possible unrest. And it’s not just in DC. It’s happening in New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere around the country. So sad!

Just guessing,but my guess is it is one of those small towns with a majority black population.

Not that this excuses the blatant racism on display. It just highlights the fact there is no one around to protest it.

A Jewish attorney I worked with in St. Louis retired to Carrboro to be near her two (ultra lib) kids, so that's about all I know about it.  :shrug:

On first click I was redirected to a message about debugging our website (TBR). On second attempt, I got to  puresocial but it was buggy, and froze after 10 seconds or so.  :shrug:

@sneakypete All I know is, it seems all my friends seem to be retiring to someplace in NC. We visited two of them last year near Wilmington.

 I see Carrboro is near Chapel Hill, a university town, so I suspect there are a lot of liberal loonies there - and very few people to object to Black Panthers or BLM or any other Commie group intimidating voters at the polling places.
