Considering the mass cash Bloomberg is strangely pouring into this election, for what appears on surface to be minimal benefit.....  One wonders how many of the Bobulinski dots may connect in his direction. No proof of course, but why would he pour $100M into this for no reason.  Billioniares don't blow that kind of money, without a motive.

Announcement made Oct 25 @catfish1957  ... Bloomberg's expanding operations in China and needs a president who'll stay out of the way.

But...But...  Is it chocolate or vanilla?   :thud:

We need to get Trump re-elected if for no other reason than to expose as deliberate the phony misleading polls; reforming Big Tech and it’s role in suppressing conservative speech; and strengthening libel and slander laws as a counter to MSM’s corruption and subversion of truth, in broadcast and printed news.

If we don’t address these dangers to our republican democracy now, in this president’s next term, the opportunity for reform could be lost.

The media deserve 99% of the credit for the Trump Presidency.  If they had ignored Trump back in 2015-2016, he never would have won the GOP nomination.  Instead, they gave him hundreds of millions of dollars in free campaign publicity with their 24/7 news coverage at the expense of every other GOP candidate.  The media wanted Trump to be the GOP candidate because they thought he would be the easiest for Hillary to beat.  Such blindness is being repeated in 2020.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

....and we're supposed to believe that Trump is trailing Biden in the polls.  Again, to me it is obvious that the DEMS are very very confident that they will win through fraud and corruption, they have made very little effort to earnestly campaign...their turn out is poor throughout the country.

Praying that Trump wins by an overwhelming landslide.

Nah. Even with their plans for voter fraud and mail-in balloting, they are scared. They’re betting if they can carpet bomb the airwaves and news pages with big enough lies and phony polls, that they can depress enough Trump supporters from coming out to tip the balance towards Joe. It’s whistling past the graveyard.

I was a couple of years ago @sneakypete  But he's been a strong supporter of the President for a while so I'm kindda used to it now.

POTUS is ending endless wars and using our influence to make peace in Serbia and the Middle East (Paul has wanted this for years); Trump is getting Europe to pay their own way for defense (again, something Paul went out on a limb for years back) and has renegotiated NAFTA--which Paul has called for.

Paul is actually an America-Firster.

I think both men are smart enough to know you don't need 100% agreement all of the time to be allies.  Prior to COVID the President and Paul would golf for a couple of hours every couple of weeks.  I think they came to respect each other's talents, commitment and advice.
