Senate Democrats pan Trump's payroll tax proposal as 'huge mistake'
By Alexander Bolton - 03/11/20 03:39 PM EDT

Senate Democrats say President Trump’s plan to dramatically cut payroll taxes as a response to the coronavirus outbreak's hit to the economy is a “huge mistake” that will take a “wrecking ball” to Social Security.

They are vowing to oppose it even though many of them supported President Obama’s decision to cut payroll taxes in 2011 ahead of his 2012 reelection.

Democrats argue that tax cuts won’t help people who miss work because of the coronavirus.

Sen. Ron Wyden (Ore.), the senior Democrat on the Finance Committee, called Trump’s payroll tax proposal a “huge mistake” that would “amount to hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for big corporations.”

Democrats are idiots.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Total projected revenue from corporate taxes for this tax year (before coronavirus) is $284 billion.  So explain to me how a rollback on individual payroll taxes is going to cost the government more corporate tax revenue than corporations were even projected to pay?  Like I said, idiots.

Anything that Trump proposes that would help this country, the economy and the average American the DEMS oppose.  They are a despicable, deplorable group and I see them as anti-America.   9999hair out0000
