While Spain deals with it’s own Covid-19 pandemic, hundred of illegal Muslim invaders storm border fence

April 8, 2020 by BareNakedIslam Leave a Comment
In the early hours of Monday morning, 260 dangerous (mostly-Muslim) migrants of sub-Sahara African origin stormed Spain’s border fence in Melilla.

RAIR Foundation  Muslim invaders attacked the civil guards, armed forces, members and police officers with weapons. Despite their best efforts to fend off these dangerous migrants, around fifty-five managed to enter the city.
The Government Delegation in Melilla has described this attack as “massive and violent”. Apparently, several of the criminals threw stones at the agents and attacked them with hooks they also used to scale the border fence.
This recent incident is was one of the largest Melilla has experienced along the border perimeter, since mid-March when they stopped allowing migrants to enter and closed down migrant reception centers, due to the Chineses coronavirus health crisis.

THAILAND: MUSLIM man infected with Chinavirus intentionally spits at passenger as they queued for train tickets…then he drops dead in the train after vomiting and convulsing on board

April 8, 2020 by BareNakedIslam

Anan Sahoh, a 56-year- old Muslim man (photo right) who had recently traveled to Pakistan and was caught spitting at an unknown person while buying a train ticket at Bangkok’s Bang Sue Railway Station, dies of coronavirus on the same train hours later.

Daily Mail (h/t Mrigank) Anan Sahoh, 56, was found slumped on the passenger train on Monday after he was earlier seen ‘coughing and vomiting’ during the journey. Health officials grew alarmed when CCTV footage at the station in Bangkok showed him spitting at a man who was buying tickets from a machine.

Authorities are now desperately trying to trace the spitting victim to stop him spreading the disease to others.

French Police Attacked in Multiple No-Go Zones Despite Lockdown Measures
By Pamela Geller - on April 8, 2020

Police in Paris no-go zones have been overwhelmed trying to maintain the nationwide quarantine and have handed out record numbers of fines. The heavily migrant-populated Seine-Saint-Denis area is proving to be a tough area for police to enforce the nationwide anti-coronavirus quarantine ordered by French president Emmanuel Macron, with police officers admitting that they are overwhelmed.

By: Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, 7 Apr 2020:

Despite national lockdown, police in several French cities and communes were subjected to violent attacks over the weekend as authorities struggle to maintain the strict measures.

The first incident took place on Saturday in the late afternoon when a fight broke out between two men in the commune of Saint-Paul-lès-Dax. Police were called after one of the men fled to his car following the altercation.

Masked crowds fill Wuhan's streets, trains as lockdown ends

Sam Mcneil, Associated Press Updated 7:42 am CDT, Wednesday, April 8, 2020

WUHAN, China (AP) — Amid streets newly bustling with cars and pedestrians, Wang Chun celebrated the lifting of a virus lockdown on her hometown of Wuhan on Wednesday with a dance outdoors after 2 1/2 months largely cooped up at home.

“I’m so happy Wuhan has defeated the virus,” Wang said after recording a K-Pop-inspired duet with a male partner for posting on the internet. Neither of them wore face masks, at least for a brief few minutes.

After she put on the mask again, Wang confronted the question many of the city's 11 million residents are asking themselves: When will they be going back to work?

Mexican border city to quarantine returning migrants
Updated 9:30 pm CDT, Thursday, March 26, 2020

MEXICO CITY (AP) — The Mexican border state of Chihuahua said Thursday it will set up a shelter to house deported migrants for a two-week quarantine.

The state said the shelter would be set up in “the next few days” to house migrants returned to the border city of Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas.

The state government says an average of 65 migrants are deported through Ciudad Juarez every day, for a total of about 5,200 so far this year.

The quarantine move is part of a series of measures announced Thursday to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The United States has over 81,000 cases, while Mexico has 585, though testing is far less frequent in Mexico.

Inside Wuhan’s secretive National Biosafety Lab
Major report highlights the controversial research institute in the Chinese city where the first cases of Covid-19 were reported
by Gordon Watts April 7, 2020

Controversy and secrecy appear to lurk in the corridors of the National Biosafety Laboratory in Wuhan.

Described as “a cell within the Chinese Academy of Science’s Institute of Virology,” it conducts “coronavirus research” and is a United Nations “reference laboratory for infectious diseases.” It is also situated in the city which in December spawned the first reported cases of the deadly Covid-19 disease.

A wet market only 16 kilometers, or 10 miles, away initially became “ground zero” in what would turn out to be a global pandemic.

Is tropical Asia relatively immune to Covid-19?
Tropical Asian nations have much fewer cases and deaths than the wintry West but the verdict on climate determinism is still out
by John McBeth    April 7, 2020

JAKARTA – When Maritime Affairs and Investment Coordinating Minister Luhut Panjaitan recently raised the much-debated issue of whether a tropical climate may be Indonesia’s best defense against the fast-spreading coronavirus, critics of the government’s response predictably rolled their eyes.

The problem for Panjaitan, President Joko Widodo’s senior adviser on almost everything, is that all attention is on the lack of testing, widely believed to be the reason why the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is far lower than what independent modeling suggests it should be.

Claims that the climate may be a mitigating factor leads irrevocably to the suspicion that the government is trying to find ways to cover up the true measure of the situation. There is little question that in delaying its initial response, it did lasting damage to its credibility.

Right, I don't think this jump is within a day's time though:

Coronavirus: Saudi cases jump 327 to 2,932 total, 631 recoveries

Saudi Arabia's coronavirus cases jumped by 327 to a total of 2,932, the health ministry spokesman announced on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, 631 people have recovered in the Kingdom with a death toll of 41.

The spokesman continued to urge everyone to follow instructions and to commit to the implemented measures in order to avoid contracting the virus and to slow the spread.

I'd urge all interested to research Indonesia. They are a very populous country (268 million, not that much smaller than the US's population if we put that at about 330 million)... so, they do seem to be getting cases but in what context?

Indonesia was in denial over coronavirus. Now it may be facing a looming disaster
April 7, 2020 4.01pm EDT

Almost no one thinks Indonesia is handling the COVID-19 pandemic well.

Until early March, the government claimed it had no cases of infection, something the eccentric health minister, Terawan Agus Putranto, attributed to prayer. The home affairs minister urged the public to eat more bean sprouts and broccoli, while President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) sang the praises of jamu, traditional herbal remedies.

The government had been in denial. Terawan dismissed as “insulting” a report by Harvard University researchers saying Indonesia must have unreported cases. As recently as last Friday, another minister was still arguing the virus cannot survive in tropical climates.

Read more at:  https://theconversation.com/indonesia-was-in-denial-over-coronavirus-now-it-may-be-facing-a-looming-disaster-135436

Also, the virus may be limited in tropical climates but something I saw indicated it basically has to be a certain set of conditions, for whatever reasons, I think Indonesia is a nation to watch.

Might Cuba likewise be that? And Brazil?  One can check on all of these.

Well...hopefull we'll start getting some of our subtropical humidity around here soon -- another month or so.

I was looking at some of the "world meters" COVID-19 data from a link another poster provided.

Some of the stats just don't make sense or add up.  I am thinking mostly (1) skewed stats from different governments with different accounting methods,  (2) There are probably genetic markers that pre-dispose some ethnic groups more than others.  A real good historic example is how the native americans fared after Small Pox was introduced into the new world, and (3) Demographics based on age, and percentage of those populations with pre-exisisting conditions.

Then you like you said, there may be climatic tendencies that may impact how this virus is spread.  In any case by the time this thing is solved, the field of Virology will be greatly expanded to understand this matter.

Coronavirus: Boris Johnson 'improving' as intensive care treatment continues
BBC, Apr 8, 2020, 2:15 pm ET

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is "improving" after two nights in intensive care with coronavirus, Chancellor Rishi Sunak has said.

Mr Johnson was now sitting up in bed and "engaging positively" with the clinical team at St Thomas' Hospital in London, the chancellor added.

Mr Sunak also said a Cobra meeting on Thursday would discuss "the approach" to take in reviewing lockdown measures.

It comes as a record 938 daily deaths were reported in UK hospitals

Trials of IS Fighters in Syria Suspended Indefinitely
By Heather Murdock   April 02, 2020 11:12 AM

HASSEKA, SYRIA - “It’s like we are holding a ticking bomb in our hands,” a guard in a prison in northeastern Syria told us in February. The facility holds roughly 5,000 accused Islamic State militants from all over the world.

A month later, the metaphorical bomb went off. Prisoners rioted on Sunday, overrunning one floor of the prison and smashing interior doors.

Later that night, wearing a black mask and flanked by men carrying AK-47s, Rubar Hassan, the prison’s director, appeared before news cameras, appealing for international help. More than a year after the territorial defeat of IS in Syria, officials here still feel baffled and betrayed by the international community.

Whatever one thinks about the Coronavirus, dangers exagerrated or what have you, one thing I think is certain, if there were not proper healthcare set up in a prison and it's probably not too good under Assad (that's not the case with this prison surely mainly Kurd-maintained), the virus could ravage a prison and see a lot of suffering. I'm sure that is true of many prisons in less wealthy nations.

How the World Health Organisation’s failure to challenge China over coronavirus cost us dearly
The international body blithely accepted Beijing’s assurances that there was little to worry about.
By Lawrence Freedman

As the Japanese government counted the cost of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics being postponed to next year, Taro Aso, the country’s deputy prime minister, took out his frustration on the World Health Organisation (WHO). Preparation for a pandemic of exactly this nature had long been the WHO’s top priority. So why did it fail the test so badly when the moment came?

Aso’s answer was that the WHO had grown far too close to China. Indeed, he suggested, it should change its name to the Chinese Health Organisation. Not only was the previous WHO director-general, Margaret Chan, a Chinese national but her successor, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the former Ethiopian health minister, was China’s candidate. The allegation was serious: “Early on, if the WHO had not insisted to the world that China had no pneumonia epidemic, then everybody would have taken precautions,” he said on 28 March. Although it was alerted in late December that a new disease had appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the WHO continued to repeat Beijing’s assurances that there was nothing much to worry about.

The WHO had been warned of the problem in Wuhan from a reliable but awkward source. In common with most international organisations, at China’s insistence the WHO does not include Taiwan as an independent member. That is why those looking for evidence of Taiwan’s performance in the struggle against Covid-19 will search in vain on the WHO website. Yet, as Aso also noted, Taiwan can claim to be a “world leader” in responding to the virus and its impressive record should be known. By screening people arriving on flights from China and tracing the contacts of all known cases, this island country of some 24 million people has so far limited the number of cases to 363, with five deaths.

Japan declared a state of emergency, but it’s no lockdown. So what is it?
By Mari Yamaguchi The Associated Press   Posted April 8, 2020 8:04 am

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has declared a state of emergency in Tokyo and six other hard-hit Japanese prefectures to fortify the fight against the coronavirus outbreak. But this is no European or Wuhan-style lockdown. A look at what Japan’s state of emergency entails:

Q. WHY DID ABE DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY?

A. Abe was facing heavy pressure to declare a state of emergency after the number of new cases in Tokyo began doubling every several days in late March. The city of 14 million had 1,339 cases as of Wednesday, up from about 600 a week earlier. Japan focused on dealing with clusters of infections and selective testing for the virus, a strategy that has failed to curb its spread. Experts found that one-third of Tokyo’s recent cases were linked to hostess clubs and other night entertainment districts where cluster tracing is difficult. Meanwhile, compliance with calls for working remotely and other social distancing has been weak.

‘Pray for Boris’ and other signs of spiritual revival
The Christian Science Monitor

One of the world’s most powerful figures, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has been laid low by the coronavirus. News of his hospitalization would be compelling enough. Yet the public response is just as newsworthy. It hints at a spiritual revival of concern for the weakest during this health crisis, no matter what their station in life.

Across Britain, people have placed signs outside houses saying “Pray for Boris.” Muslim, Jewish, and Christian leaders in Britain have offered prayers or asked for God’s blessing for the prime minister and his loved ones.

Abroad, Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo said he had prayed for Mr. Johnson’s “swift recovery.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The people of Israel pray for the speedy and full recovery of our friend.” President Donald Trump said both he and the American people were praying for a “good friend.”
