I would like to hear Rubio, Alexander, etc describe what presidential conduct *would be* impeachable.

Is the argument that so long as impeachment is divisive it can never be deployed?

Should Nixon have been impeached if he hadn’t resigned?

What’s the standard here?

"Impeachment was a non-starter because the aid was actually sent, and without any preconditions.  Had the aid not been sent, then you might have had at east a predicate act on which to focus.  But trying to remove a President from office because aid was merely delayed for a few weeks is ridiculous."

The Trump matter has always been one for the voters. The impeachment drama was not real - a conviction was never possible nor is anyone there an impartial arbiter. Knowingly engaging in a fight that’s political and then getting upset it was decided on party lines is nonsensical.

Is New York Times choosing to selectively drip out "bombshells," strategically timed in order to maximize help for Democrats'? Or are they just the completely willing conduit for someone else releasing the book excerpts to them piecemeal to maximize help to Democrats?

Yesterday, Schiff said he wouldn't "dignify with an answer" a question based on a newspaper report that "smeared" his staff.  But he just read aloud from a newspaper report in this morning's NYT that smeared the President.  That confirms it:  the NYT is not a newspaper!

As major political actors in this effort to remove a president, shouldn't they tell us whether they're the ones running the show or whether they're just letting other anti-Trump partisans use them for that purpose? Or is it a shared thing, 100% coordinated?

Rush saying the Rats had the Bolton info last night..they had all night to prepare their statements and produce clips and graphics for today...2 hours before the trial was to presume the NYT's releases the bombshell to the public.
