Dershowitz is making a crazy argument.  If Trump believes getting another country to manufacture dirt on a political opponent and he thinks its in the public interest for him to be reelected, not his opponent, he can do whatever he wants.  That's just a corrupt argument.

Dershowitz: Quid pro quo is normal in foreign policy. Only way it's unlawful is if "quo" is illegal. Cites an Abraham Lincoln precedent, explaining even acts done for politics can be lawful.

You have a JD but I don't think you've ever been before SCOTUS, let alone won, have you?

You get the impression from Schiff & other House managers that they really think that if they just keep repeating ad nauseam (on top of last week's 23-hr filibuster) that Trump committed impeachable offenses that a crime will magically appear justifying their partisan impeachment

@RepAdamSchiff  just lied - again. He was asked if John Bolton refused to testify before the House. He said yes. Bolton offered to let a federal judge decide whether he should testify. Before the judge could decide, Schiff withdrew his subpoena. Schiff is a lying sack of shit.

I’m a never Trumper and I’m sick of it all. Don’t call witnesses just vote now and let’s move on. They’re gonna acquit. They were always gonna acquit. Extending it only helps Trump because everyone knows it’s predetermined and it is just a waste of time at this point.
