Adam Schiff keeps saying the whistleblower has a “statutory right to anonymity.” He said it again this morning. It is nonsense. Only the IC official who receives a whistleblower complaint is required to withhold the name, and not in all circumstances.

@sneakypete  Absolutely correct.  I spent quite a it of time at the Pentagon when I was stationed in DC...Colonels are treated like 2nd LT's and 1 Star Generals fetch coffee for their boss.

Same basic concept and treatment that you describe for how a Lieutenant Colonel would be treated and looked upon at the White House.

That has been MY thought since Day One. IMNSHO,NOBODY that was born into a family in a country with a long history of antagonism towards the United States should NEVER be allowed to assume a policy position.

Henry Kissinger and Zabrowsky,or whatever the hell his name is,is what convinced me of this. Kissinger should have been hanged in public.

As do thousands of others in uniform who've been the victim of an IED in Iraq or Afghanistan.

That or all the shiny ribbons on his chest doesn't take away from the fact that if CID and Army JAG were to take a look at his actions and his testimony under oath in these hearings...he could be courts martialed for conduct unbecoming.

At the very minimum because of his anti Trump actions...leaking of classified material and OPSEC violations...he's reached terminal rank and will retire at Lt. Colonel.

You are right.Unlike us,he has obviously never been in a position where truth is everything,and spin in BS that if you are very,very lucky,will only get you hurt.

I am and have always been outspoken,and this included my time in the army. I never once got into any sort of trouble whatsoever for speaking my mind when asked my opinion,or for giving my opinion when I heard or saw something I thought to be wrong.

NOT EVEN ONCE,and not even when *I* was the one that was wrong.

Then again,I was lucky enough to served in a combat arms branch where all anybody cares about is the end result,which is doing the job tasked with the least amount of loss possible.
