Of course profiling by nationality and religion would be immoral and wrong. /s
The guy has been here for years and is a US citizen. He had been working for the airline since 1988, well before most of us knew there were radical Muslims who wanted us all dead.
This is what I don't get: this isn't some bored young punk with a chip on his shoulder who decides it would be cool to join ISIS. He's 60 years old. He took advantage of every opportunity this country gave him. He has a well paying job. Now he wants to kill us infidels? What motivates a person to do that?
My kidney specialist is a Muslim from Syria. He's not a radical and, I gather, not all that serious about his faith. We were talking about ISIS and radical Muslims, and he said he is grateful to the US for his successful medical practice, his nice home and all the good things he, his wife and son enjoy. Why would he be bitter against a country that has given him everything?
