Andrew Desiderio@AndrewDesiderio · 4mWoah.“You could charge the president with obstruction of justice after he leaves office?â€Mueller: “Yes.â€
That's the money quote the dems and media (redundant) will screech about.
Dan Bongino@dbongino·1hIf the hapless, hopeless Democrats had a collective brain among them they’d stop this embarrassing fiasco now. The #MuellerHearings are blowing up in their faces. Mueller’s credibility is completely decimated.
McClintock asks Mueller why he hid exculpatory information in the report. Mueller doesn't agree with characterization.
He could charge anyone he wants, doesn't mean he'd get a conviction.
Lesko R AZ nails Mueller for his contradictions about not charging Trump with obstruction. Mueller unable to answer without reviewing. Weak.
If Mueller truly believed that Trump should have been indicted he could have easily written in the report that Trump SHOULD be indicted for obstruction and if they could have they would have but for the OLC letter. And yet he didn't do that.
Yeah, but "could" and "should" ain't what this is all about.
Don't forget either that the Dems will repeat ad nauseam that the Mueller report doesn't exonerate Trump. It's not the a prosecutors job to exonerate anyone. Saying he can't exonerate Trump is merely a statement of fact...much in the same way that saying Hillary has cankles is a statement of fact.
