Then we should ban the internet and Netflix. WSJ this morning reported that some social scientists think the popularity of binge-watching, rather than the old habit of watching the news that ends at 11:30 sharp leaving time for the Beast with Two Backs, is contributing to population decline. Even couples who say they are trying to reproduce are finding binge-watching more irresistible than their partners.
That small portion of the population that's homosexual isn't the problem. White people don't reproduce because they don't prioritize it. First start a career and then, when career and finances are on track, watch TV.
You are ignoring a lot of cultural differences which, if enumerated, would have me called "racist", and would involve stereotypes unfair to those people who are trying to do a decent job of raising their children and actually working in legitimate careers. I would wager that portion of the demographic is not the most procreative, because working for a living takes energy, no matter who you are, and if you are, chances are you are more responsible and footing the bill for your own kids.
But, to generalize, white people can afford TV, but not so much the cost of doing a decent job of raising another child (now put at over $233,000 from birth to age 17, not counting college costs. The days of large families to help out on the farm are pretty much over, as the demand for those children to labor there is greatly reduced.
Besides, working to pay the bills (after taxes) burns up a lot of the energy that might have gone to procreative activity.
People who don't care about responsibility (their family unit and the idea of a two parent home isn't a cultural priority after decades of social programming and subsidies) tend to make babies at a higher rate because they won't be paying for them, and can use them as revenue enhancers with Welfare programs.
Eliminate the subsidies and the tax burden that feeds them, and I think the picture might change.
