I saw where Sanders got 67%+ in VT.  What kind people ( 2 in 3  no less) want to live in a socialist state?

There is a rumor that U-haul is calling in a lot of trailers and trucks from all over the country to come to Illinois to handle all of the families that is moving out..

So right now RCP has 856848-839775 with 99.53% reporting which suggests less than 10k uncounted, but there could actually be thousands more still floating around? To be "counted" by hand? That's a scary thought...

Whenever I see turnout reports, I always see a % of "Precincts Reporting."  Early ballots are not precinct oriented (they don't go through the precincts, but directly to the County Recorders), so they are handled separately.  That's why you can see 99% counted and still have a lot of uncounted ballots.  I can see from the SoS's page in AZ the numbers have been changing.  McSally has picked up a few votes since last night, but there is no indication of how many early ballots remain.

Geez. I thought we had a good night but with all these GOP losses I'm not so sure. No worries though. I'm sure Scott Brown picked up that Senate seat in New Hampshire.

This morning count in the McSally/Sinema election, from the AZ Secretary of State website:

McSally 856,848, or 49.37%

Enema 839,775 or 48.39%

I still can't find how many ballots remain to be counted from the SoS web page.  McSally is slowly pulling away, she was <16,000 votes ahead yesterday and about 0.8%, and it's now almost 1%.  It would appear the mail-in and early ballots were more GOP than the press expected.

The automatic recount threshold in AZ is 0.5%.

The totals for Superintendent of Public Education flipped in the count, and now all state-wide offices on the ballot are showing GOP sweep.  It would appear the mail-in and early ballots are primarily GOP.  Continue prayers for AZ, please!

I suppose they count anything postmarked by Tue. so no way to tell how many still trickling in. If the current totals reflect everything received so far, the lead looks pretty safe.

On another note, anyone know the time frame for the FL recount?

I remember years ago, selling a government VA foreclosure to a young Hispanic family.

During a subsequent real estate boom, they netted $215,000 upon the sale.

Took it and purchased a 3500 sq ft 4bed 3.5 brick front colonial in Austin, Texas ...paid cash (against my advice)

I smile all the time when I think about that family.  Such love.

I am now in a blue county.

Dallas is now firmly blue, and that includes suburbs that were crimson just one election ago.
