Well, let's sit back and assess for a moment.
Flake (on the Judiciary Committee) is the only "wavering vote" there that I see.
If Judge Kavanaugh didn't gain that vote today -- it was not going to be "gained" under any circumstances. But -- I think the judge made his case before Flake today.
So, that should take care of the Committee vote -- hold that as soon as possible (scheduled for tomorrow, right?).
Regarding Collins and Murkowski:
After today, I don't think we "need them" any more.
Manchin of West Virginia will almost certainly vote to confirm.
I'm going out on a limb and predicting that Heitkamp and Donnelly will, too.
That should do it...
