We are to see, hear and speak no evil about evil, because we are evil.

Abhor what is evil .....

It is funny, to abhor what is evil what must you be able to do? Judge (rightly) what is evil, right? Day in and day out people here judge, but suddenly certain people are not to judge. Then it gets funnier, they judge that you judge too much.

Exodus 18:21 Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders over ....

Jesus liked to keep it simple. “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”

This does not mean you should be unable to discern good from bad, but it sure defines how god perceives those who cast the first stone. I once had a mail exchange (old school mail not email) with the great Archbishop Shelby Spong on this very subject. That phrase, along with parable of casting the first stone IS who Jesus was. When we who are much farther from perfect than he, decide to judge a man....a president...harshly for his sins WE become the hypocrites.

We did not elect President Trump to be Pope or Chief Rabbi, we elected him to be our secular leader and to fight the deeply embedded corruption that is consuming our government AND to fight the rising Socialist tide...his long ago affairs with sleazy women was a known aspect of the mans personal shortcomings. But the relevance of that in the big picture of right and wrong pales to insignificance next to his determination to fight the extreme left.

Hell, MLK was a sleaze hound as well as was JFK, but they nonetheless achieved great things in bringing justice to those who previously were treated as less than human.

Should have been said back on page 1.   Fifteen pages on a site where Coulter 'isn't read' and/or is disliked.

...because she criticized Pres. Trump.

Look, it may not be the most exciting thing to do ... I wish I could have said I was going to the Opera.  But we've been on a hurricane warning for 4 days and everything has been closed so it's kind of exciting to me to be able to go to Safeway.

Why be a butthole about it?  That goes for you too @goodwithagun.

In fact, this thread has become horribly populated with holier than thou people and the virtue is reeking into my room so I wasn't planning to come back.  Sorry that I did.

There you go name calling again.
I stand with Roosgirl.

Oh, don't be so deliberately obtuse.  You, specifically, grab the crown of perfection every time you judge a poster not a real Christian or a real conservative or a moral person for the dastardly sin of not agreeing with *you*.

Stand down.  You are in no position to make any demands here.

@Mesaclone is a TBR treasure, along with @Right_in_Virginia and present company, @DCPatriot (((many others, too, of course))) ...but, Mesaclone’s got this way with words and a POV that saves me a lot of time posting!

When yer right, you are right.

If you’ve been trapped in there four days, it’s probably not the virtue you’re smelling.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Thanks @Right_in_Virginia in Virginia.  There was so much piety and virtue expressed by some here relating to themselves, of course, that it leaked into my computer room and was making me sick.

I just got up and I see my very apt use of the word 'bitch' was considered unsuitable by the mods and has disappeared.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

Seriously?  A thread on Ann Coulter saying something Coulterish being used to call each other names and abuse the good intentions of TBR and Nancy?  How is this a good or appropriate use of your time and effort?

For those of us who need a refresher:  http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,308154.0.html

Closed out of disgust.  Have a great Sunday.
