NASA spaceship on display on White House lawn

DC, the final frontier.

A spaceship touched down on the White House lawn Monday — but there were no lasers fired at the Oval Office.

The Orion, NASA’s hope for deep-space human travel, was on display as part of President Trump’s Made in America Product Showcase.

“And NASA, as you know, is really in a position that it hasn’t been in decades,” Trump said.

“People are excited about it.”

The commander in chief in June called on the Pentagon to create a “space force” as a new branch of the US military.

For something that supposed to be that modern, it sure looks like the lunar modules of Apollo 60's/70's.

This an Onion type article?
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
