President Trump addressed his wife’s first appearance in weeks outside the White House during a visit to Federal Emergency Management Agency headquarters on Wednesday.

“She went through a little rough patch, but she’s doing great,” Trump said of first lady Melania Trump.

“We’re very proud of her. She’s done a fantastic job, this first lady. The people love you. The people of our country love you, so thank you, honey,” he added.

I suppose it's taking a while for the swelling around that eye to settle down!  (/CNN News Anchor mode)
