FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, frequent target of Trump's ire, steps down: NBC News
CNBC, Jan 29, 2018, Jacob Pramuk

FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, a frequent target of public attacks from President Donald Trump, is stepping down effective Monday, NBC News reported.
 
McCabe, who served a brief stint as acting director of the bureau, was already expected to leave. He is eligible to retire with benefits in March.

Trump and Republicans in Congress have accused McCabe of political bias in the investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election and whether the Trump campaign coordinated with the Kremlin.

It's being reported now that he's not stepping down on his own...the IG is removing him.

And today is the earliest he could leave and still get his full retirement benefits.

Many people deserve jail,  DOJ, ATF, FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, People in Obama admin, and several congress people.

I'll check youtube, maybe that guy who caused Benghazi made another one.   He needs more jail time.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is leaving his position ahead of a previously planned retirement this spring.

McCabe has been a frequent target of criticism from President Donald Trump.

Two people familiar with the decision described it to The Associated Press on Monday. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.
