This whole matter sounds like one huge conspiracy theory... that is, until you actually start looking into its elements.
From what is already factually demonstrable (through emails and written communications), from the politically incestuous relationships between the parties involved, and from their self-evident confluence of interest, it becomes apparent that a large portion of the U.S. intelligence community was embroiled in a criminal effort to assist its favored President candidate by smearing the reputation of her opponent.
It is not a conspiracy, at all. It was being done right out in the open by powerful and politically-connected people whose arrogance and audacity had grown exponentially after eight years of Obamian governance.
And where is the news media? Still promoting the false narrative, of course, for they were an element of the plan, as well.
