The good news is this ruling is in effect until the 9th hears it. If the 9th overturns the rule, and its decision is appealed, then the ruling will stay in effect until the Supreme Court makes a decision.

Basically, only the US Supreme Court can overrule the travel ban now. And they will wait for the case to reach them.

No pissant Obama appointee judge in American Samoa can reinstate the ban!

He/she subordinates personal opinions, and makes choices that will bring about those conservative outcomes.

There seem to be many folks hanging out on political sites, that fuss endlessly over "principles," claiming elections are not binary, when they really are just that.

Express your opinions and choices in primaries, vote what gives the best outcomes in the general.

This is a no brainer.   It is a testament to how screwed up things are that this even got to the Supreme Court.  It never should have been accepted in any Federal Court. 


Our court system is a mess because Judges keep wanting to impose their own personal opinions and call it "the law."

Right!  If we consider three equal branches, than only SCOTUS has the ability to set aside a Presidential order... The legislative and Executive can overrule.

A piss-ant lower court is not even in that ballpark. At the very least, the President should be able to put a "Hold" on any court order lower than SCOTUS and effectively ignore it until SCOTUS takes it up.
