Steve Mostyn, Democrat mega donor to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, died after “a sudden onset and battle with a mental health issue.”

While the death appears to be suicide, the Mostyn family has yet to comment on what the cause of death is.

Mostyn, a famous Houston-area trial lawyer was one of the country’s biggest donors to Democrat causes.

Chron.com reports:
The Mostyns were co-founders of the Ready for Hillary PAC, a political action committee supporting Clinton’s unsuccessful campaign for president.

At the same time, state campaign finance records show he contributed to a police-affiliated PAC that supported some Republican primary candidates.
In 2016, Mostyn gave Clinton $1 million.

The Statesman reports:
The Mostyns were particularly active in the 2012 national elections, donating $5.2 million to political action committees backing President Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress, establishing the couple as among the nation’s top 20 donors to political causes that year, according to the Center for Public Integrity.

Questions are being raised after the cause of death was withheld. Mostyn did not have a history of mental illness.

"Does anyone in the media wonder why everyone around the Clinton’s seems to commit suicide, disappear or dies under mysterious circumstances? The Clintons are either the luckiest people in the world, or they are guilty of taking down an awful lot of people who could either rat them out or take them down."

I have a list of 56 suspicious deaths relating to the Clinton's.  56.

Here are four in the list:

1 – James McDougal – Clinton’s convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.

2 – Mary Mahoney – A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.

3 – Vince Foster – Former white House counselor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock’s Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.

4 – Ron Brown – Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown’s skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist

But there does seem to be quite a coincidence of people who know things about the Clintons having low survival rates
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Mostyn might not have had an official medical history of mental illness, but it is possible he might have become depressed, maybe suicidal, over something recent.   Some sort of a life change -- the death of a loved one, divorce, etc.?  Or maybe an impending legal problem?  Could he have started to take a drug that lists suicide as a side effect?  Some people who are depressed can hide it from others.  Or others might not have noticed the warning signs.

In any event, I would have to wait for an investigation before I believed this was anything but a suicide.

Yes.  Gateway Pundit has been reduced to Infowars/National Enquirer status...which is why I wouldn't believe this story.

When I was looking for a conservative forum to settle into I found a place where they treat those sites with reverence and high regard.  I forget the name of the place now but they always seemed to be running a web-a-thon or a permanent gofundme drive.

At least, they frown on profanity and name-calling over there or crack down on those who grossly pornographize the conversation for others.

No mystery here.  He was an unhinged lib who thought he could change things by throwing money at his causes, wanted to turn Texas blue, and got tired of one loss after another.  http://www.chron.com/news/politics/texas/article/Steve-Mostyn-Houston-attorney-and-major-Dem-12362769.php

Whoa!  Just whoa.  In the weeks while I was still at TOS before I was banned for Trump bashing, I was insulted in ways that people here could not even dream of.

So you must be dreaming.

Neither am I.  But how far can one stretch coincidence with all the sudden deaths of people connected to the Clinton's in some way?

So, this may well be entirely unconnected but I believed the possibility enough to put it out there.

I am certainly no admirer of this guy.  He got his money in a questionable way and spent it in a way I don't like but what happened to make him commit suicide?  No clue in anything I've read.

Repeats the same things over and over, but not a thing about his actual death.

Big hole, blah blah. Big hole blah blah.  Did any of his candidates win?

Suicide how? Exhaust from car in garage? Hung himself with a coat hanger?

Gateway Pundit is nothing more than a blog -- the personal ramblings of an individual who seems to believe in conspiracies for every tragic event.  Conspiracy types will set forth suspicions and gossip, but almost never have anything that even remotely qualifies as evidence to support the alleged conspiracy.

In the old days, one could separate legitimate news sources from the conspiracy crazies rather easily.  Real news had facts and evidence.  The crazies had none.  But nowadays, we don't have much in the way of legitimate journalism anymore, so the line between hard news and crackpot opinions is blurred.
