I hope they throw the book at this violent leftist.

Three of the ribs were displaced and could have punctured a lung. Held on $5000 bond? Boucher should lose his medical license. Crazy violent leftist.

Sen.  Rand Paul (R-KY) was assaulted on Friday at his home by his neighbor, 59-year-old Rene Boucher. Paul was mowing his lawn when his neighbor came from behind him and tackled him. The neighbor was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with fourth-degree assault.

I read that too TomSea. It was something about Rand's son I believe knowing the son or daughter of Boucher.

Boucher's daughter and one of Paul's sons (William) are facebook friends. William has been arrested several times for DUI and also disorderly conduct. He sounds like a troubled young man. Don't know if that has anything at all to do with why the father attacked Rand.

Five broken ribs is pretty darn serious. My sister's brother-in-law currently is in the hospital with 7 broken ribs and it's unlikely he'll get out alive.
I hope this assault would be upgraded to a felony.

We have a neighbor who cut down a tree and has left all the logs in an unsightly heap in an ugly chain link fence in their backyard.

My husband and I have been trying to decide when it would be a good time for him to tackle the neighbor man and break five of his ribs.....

Disputes like that begin with people who don't like each other to start with.  Regardless of the immediate cause of the current disagreement, I'll bet a dollar for donuts that the leftist was just being an ass because he couldn't stand Senator Paul's politics.

I've seen a lot of lawn maintenance crews both residential and commercial blowing clippings onto adjoining properties. I had a crew cutting neighbors lawn that continually blew clippings onto my yard and under my car. The young skulls full of mush had a hard time understanding that's not good, probably were trained by management to do that. But I never had the urge to tackle anybody.

I know a lady who gets upset and says "oh, the neighbor's tree drops leaves in my yard", then, I think, well, your trees drop leaves in other people's yards. But I see where you are coming from on this.
