Former President Barack Obama's deputy chief of staff for operations called President Trump a "deranged animal" after he claimed his predecessor "didn't often" call the families of fallen service members.

"That's a bleep lie," Alyssa Mastromonaco tweeted in response to Trump's claim Monday. "To say president obama (or past presidents) didn't call the family members of soldiers KIA — he's a deranged animal."

I believe he called them, just people have caller ID now and wouldn't answer.

An archive news article search (removed Trump's name as to filter out this current back and forth) shows that if Obama did, it sure wasn't reported or mentioned by families- just the opposite.

President Bush did...and still does to my knowledge visit wounded warriors at Darnell Army Hospital at Ft. Hood.  He is greatly involved in wounded warrior activities.

Which is more than can be said for the big eared incompetent that replaced him in the WH.

Yes, he still does, very actively and without fanfare or media. He has families to his ranch all the time and still does a lot of private benefits for families of fallen soldiers.

Whatever people's complaints about President Bush are, there is no questioning his love for our soldiers an respect for their sacrifice.

It was an idiotic thing for Trump to say, and was a outright lie. But we should have become  use to this from him by now, because it come so natural for a narcisyst. Like him.
