White Woman Severely Beaten For Asking Black Teens To Be Quiet In A Movie Theater

September 30, 2017| by Brian Anderson

Here’s how being an bleep works: you act like a complete obnoxious jerk in public and then when someone politely asks you to stop, you beat the shit out of them because they have some nerve. This is what happened in Colorado recently. A group of black teens were being disruptive in a movie theater and after a white woman politely asked them to behave themselves, she was severely beaten. Don’t worry though, there is no way in hell this a hate crime because the races are backwards for that.

so now the theater business will receive a hit as who wants to go the movies and your life get threatened?

They do not allow a defensive weapon to be carried, so not only are you subjected to bad Hollywood movies, but you are at risk and have no recourse when a bully wants to beat you up.

No thank you, I eat my popcorn at home in front of my own tv with my S&W beside me.

...after a white woman politely asked them to behave themselves...

LOL!  She admitted to calling them "ghetto" and more.  So I wouldn't say, "politely".

My eyes are bad, but I didn't see where the victim admitted she called the attacker "ghetto."  The attacker said the victim called her "ghetto."

Did I miss something?

So if one politely asks someone 50 times, a different course of action must be taken.

There is nothing she could have said to them that would have justified a beating.  Nothing.  I suppose the ONLY point that could be made if she used the "ghetto" term is that she is a tacky woman when she is mad about paying good money to watch a movie a bunch of overgrown children won't let her hear.  That does NOT eliminate their rudeness in being disruptive nor excuse their criminal assault.

Oh, I agree with you.  I just wanted to get the story straight.

I've seen obnoxious behavior in movie theaters and concert venues.  Rudeness in public is now commonplace and most entertainment venues will do little to nothing about obstructive behavior -- particularly if the perpetrators are of a certain race.  I've solved the problem myself by staying away.  Saves me a ton of money and I can be entertained in the privacy of my own home.  Don't even have to wait in line to use a dirty toilet either.

@Applewood

It might not be in this telling of the story, but it's in the news reports.  http://denver.cbslocal.com/2017/09/29/belmar-theater-attack-lakewood/amp/

Quote
CBS4’s Kelly Werthmann asked Piper if she used those words in the theater and she said she “probably did.”

It doesn't justify the assault.  But neither does the assault justify lies.

Never said it did.

The "teens" were bad enough without having to lie about the incident.

Yeah, I don't go much, either.  My main reason for not going is content.  I refuse to be desensitized to homosexuality or any of the other nonsense they are peddling.  I disagree that porn snippets are "real life" because I NEVER in my real life watch other people having sex or other personal things.  It's creepy to watch.

Anyway, I must say that on the rare occasion I go to the theater, I see some of both.  I see people being rude and disruptive but I also see self appointed and overly picky crowd "police" who gripe about every little thing.  Nothing excuses assault.

I agree with your bathroom comment.  Some are better than others.

Most of the time if I really want to see a movie I am perfectly fine waiting a few months for the DVD release.

Eh.... I don't go to movie theaters any more.  Last time I did was back in 2007, I think.  I took my mother to see a movie she wanted to see in Dallas...and when the movie was over, walking out (or trying to) a herd of rude, mostly blacks almost ran her over.  I had to get on the outside next to her and "escort" her out, pushing and shoving back, and I'm only 5''2".  Plus.... the damned volume is set so high it blows your ears out and gives me a headache.  Add to that... there IS no movie these days that I want to see bad enough to go through that crap again.

The correct way to handle that situation was to inform the theater that either they make the idiots shut up so others could hear the movie, or issue a refund.  That simple.

Last time hubby and I went to the movie at night was probably 15 years ago.  Some rude little (white) girl wouldn't stop popping her gum and when I asked her to stop she said "No!"  Hubby and I walked out, talked with the manager, were refunded our tickets and given passes to return at a later time.  We opted for a matinee during the week and discovered no one goes to the movies during the daytime!  So, on the rare occasion we go to a movie, it's always a matinee during the week.

Smart!  I do that too.  Last time was in 2002...

Saw "Dunkirk" with the wife a few months ago. First time in  a movie theater in fifteen years.  Five dollars admission each and free popcorn at a matinee performance.
I had forgotten how wonderful it is to watch a good movie on the silver screen in a movie theater.  A small crowd and mostly older adults.
An excellent afternoon we hope to experience again...when another good movie comes along that is.

My wife and I only go to Matinees. Same movie less money, and fewer wack a doodles to deal with.

Same here. We hadn't been to a theatre since "Passion of the Christ" was out, but within the last year we've gone to three movies - all before 6 p.m. The last one, "Dunkirk," was very sparcely attended, which was just fine with us.

I can't imagine Dunkirk being anything close to the same experience on the small screen.

I saw it IMAX, though digital IMAX.  Incredible.

I saw Dunkirk in the theater.  It was too loud.  I do plan on buying the DVD.  I would like to watch it several times.  It was an excellent movie.  For me the theater was its only negative.

That was a comment from veterans who'd been there...they said it was louder than the actual scene!
