She is pretty good at putting her finger to the wind and trying to guess where the next hotspot will be on the political landscape. Controversy sells books and she wants to be there.

Yeah and maybe starting a fire and then screaming Fire! works better.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I couldn't agree more @XenaLee. This lack of leadership is a big problem for the GOP. Under normal circumstances, the President would be the leader of his party but clearly Trump isn't interested in that, IMO because he want to maintain his ability to "blame" Congress. This is textbook selfishness and poor leadership, but he's more interested in maintaining his image than doing what's right for the country. JMO.

This "strategy", if you can call it that, really jeopardizes his entire legislative agenda but he's too shortsighted to even recognize that. It's going to be an awful long and frustrating four years........for Donald I'm afraid if he doesn't temper his approach and I have no reason to think he will.

@Concerned I agree with you and would only challenge you to think a bit longer term than the 4 years you mention.  Once Conservatism is thrown in the trash heap, we will have a 100 year battle on our hands.  The truth of the matter is that it is already too late to save this country for Trump's generation and even for my own generation.  We are now trying to save it for our grandchildren!

I'm tired of it too, INVAR.... but I still like to know what the hell is going on.  And I can't and don't trust ANY of the lamestream media (including Fox now) to inform me of that.  I still DO trust Rush & Levin (and Rick Roberts).  And until or unless they veer left suddenly ..... I will continue to trust them to bring me the truth re: what's really happening in this nation.

@XenaLee I would also highly recommend checking out Mike Slater's podcasts on AM760 KFMB in San Diego.  He is a young gun Conservative that is supportive of Trump, but he also has a very realistic view of him.  In addition, he spends much more time on higher level philosophical things and that is where I find true value in his show.

You can get his podcasts here:  http://www.760kfmb.com/category/154889/podcasts

@XenaLee

You might like Dana.  She's the spokesperson for the NRA.  My husband started listening to her at work and he got me into her.

@CatherineofAragon and @XenaLee

I agree, Dana is very good too.  However, since I only have so much time in a day, she is just shy of making my normal rotation.  But, whenever I must substitute due to vacations, she jumps right into the line-up.  She does have a great regular, weekly segment titled "Florida man" and that one cracks me up...oh, don't forget "mail-bag of hate."

My regular rotation includes:
1.  Mark Levin
2.  Mike Slater
3.  Ben Shapiro
4.  Louder with Crowder (sort of nasty tho)
5.  Mark Levin TV
6.  Dana Loesch

Dana has moved up since Glenn revamped TheBlaze.  I used to love Pat and Stu for the much needed idiocy and Glenn's normal radio show as something a bit challenging to my own thinking.  However, he has eliminated the Pat and Stu show and changed the format for his own show.  I just don't enjoy them as much anymore....

It might be a Texan thing, but I really like Rick Roberts now, too.  He comes on after Rush and before Levin here in Texas.  Good, solid conservative kinda guy.

Ann once or twice of picking the wrong horse and being belligerent towards anyone not supporting said horse...might be forgiven.

But this is what the 3rd or 4th election cycle where you insisted a Northern Liberal was our only hope for the GOP?

Checking him out now....the station's podcast formatting is nearly unbearable!  I'll give him a chance, but the station sure wants to drive me away....
