And....lest we forget..... his entire family (and probably all his 'real' friends, too) are cheering him AS he lurches left.  That's the kind of approval most people would be hard-pressed to "pass up" getting or seeking.  Yet another reason WHY I didn't vote for him.  My biggest fear, based on all of those facts, was that he would lurch left and extend his index finger to anyone (and everyone) on the right..... reverting back to his liberal proclivities past.

This has always been the biggest concern because he is a relative newcomer to conservatism. What makes this seem more and more likely is he is largely surrounded by moderate to left leaning advisors.

It looks the best we can hope for is conservatives "holding the line" but that's a long shot at best. The liberal Pubs will be able to side with the Rats because they will have the excuse that the POTUS is supporting whatever it is they go forward with.

Yeah. That happened for me in 07. But I didn't have to compromise principle to do so.
I quit supporting Big 'R' and only support and vote for Conservatives. And I lean toward the Constitution Party.

I had nothing to do with electing any of these liberal bastards, to include the current pretender to the throne.

That is almost right, except it doesn't matter which one is in power. They are both socialist. The only thing standing in the way for two decades now is a small and hardy band of Conservatives. THAT is what we need more of.
