Disagree with you on that specific.

They didn't 'fail' - they REFUSED.  Their first order of business for ObamaCare once they were seated with all power, was to try and shore-up ObamaCare and put their own stamp of approval on small 'fixes' to the so-called 'Repeal and Replace' effort.  Except there was absolutely NO repeal whatsoever, and only massaging efforts to ease the pain and to shore up the exchanges and medicaid to keep it going.  That was followed by the "Better Care Reconciliation Act" which touted itself as a 'partial repeal' in terms of business mandates on employers and rearranging block grants to shore up the exchanges.  That too was torpedoed.  McConnell and Ryan never had any intention of repealing or replacing Obamacare.

That fact is self-evident in the Kabuki theater shell-frame they played in the previous 7 years by fully funding every aspect of ObamaCare.  Something they are doing again right now.

Exactly.   That was my exact thought.  Their failure on repealing the ACA was deliberate and intentional.

I don't think the GOP will lose control of Congress.  I think they will gain more seats in both houses.  But the people who have opposed Trump on the good things he's tried to do will be primaried and I hope defeated.

But for the GOP to lose control of Congress, people would have to vote for democrats.  That's real hard to do.

Normally....ie under normal circumstances.... I might agree with you there.  But what we are witnessing and experiencing is anything BUT normal.   The rabid left is working 24/7 behind the scenes AND up front and in our faces to overthrow this administration.  No telling what they will manage to accomplish between now and next year, much less between now and 2020.  Look how they finally managed to tank the economy under Bush, so they could blame Bush, which got us Barack Hussein Obama.

Never make the mistake of underestimating your opponents and of being overconfident.

Don't worry about that.  I am fully aware of the power and the evil of the left and the media.

That's exactly why I stick up for Trump on this board because, no matter what you think of him, he is better than them and he's being railroaded but not on my tracks.

I just think people have avenues to see past the media now.  I think that's one reason Trump uses the dreaded twitter.

That's not to say their influence is not permeating the society.  And reaching the pathetiic Senators like John McCain who still think people will like them if they criticize Trump.

I will never like you, John McCain.  I like Trump better than I like you and that should tell you a lot.

I've never liked McPain, and that goes back to the days he was my Rep.  Before the Keating Five days.

Being the only Republican, back when the party retained at least a semblance of integrity, among the Keating Five should have been an early clue as to what kind of mind we were dealing with here.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Keating was an AZ fixture, and the press brushed it off as him doing constituent services (for one of the most prominent people in Phoenix).  Little concern was given to the fact Keating donated craptons of money to McCain's first Senate run.
