Oh.... but Jazzhead is not just labeling it a benefit.   He's calling it an entitlement.... and putting us all (all who paid into the system for decades) on the same level as the REAL "free riders".... ie those that never paid a damn dime for ANY thing.... yet draw from that government teat for most or for all of their damned lives.

He really turned the corner yesterday when he referred to us gluttons for wanting to keep our own earnings.  He tipped his hand and proved he'd just a socialist thief, everything else is just trolling.  He lies about being a  Reagan Republican because he figures we'll all turn him off if he drops the act.  I say that ship sailed a long time ago.

@DCPatriot that's why when referring to things like welfare...Food Stamps etc I prefer to use the term "unfunded liabilities"...IMO it's a more accurate description of what we're dealing with.

I honestly have no opinion on your differences with @Jazzhead , but I find him to be a terrific asset to the forum.

As I read the more active threads, Jazz if right in the middle of it.

He being a Contrarian of sorts, he presents a moderate Republican POV, with a empathetic streak running alone his spine that show up on social issue topics.

Sort of like a soft-shelled crab.   Not a hard ass, but still delicious.
