My experience with the Left is that they are firm believers in "The ends justifies the means".  The AntiFa crowd is violent because they believe violence is an acceptable means to meet their ends. Most Lefties I know are of that mindset. They are saving the world.
The MSM encourages this behavior by telling us that Republican policies are killing old people and children. So naturally some people feel they must be defended by any means necessary.

I don't remember it that way, INVAR.  Only after Trump won the primary did Rush come out in vocal support of Trump.  At least, that's the way I recall it.

I canceled my 24/7 membership and turned him off for good DURING the primaries for his obvious support of Trump.

Some of us have stood for pro-life causes so stand by Trump; you've got that right.

He's done more for the pro-life cause than anyone, meaning the Presidency, this is really off-topic. I did not turn my back on the unborn. All one can say.

By the way, for the whole forum, planned parenthood funding went up under Bush 43.

And why after a couple of decades of listening, I stopped.  I figured Rush would be the last to sell out the conservative movement.

I quit listening to Rush during the primaries.  I remember it clearly.  Some guy called in and detailed Trump's previous liberal positions/stances and asked Rush why he wouldn't talk about them.  Rush laughed at him and was completely condescending.  He totally blew off the guy's concerns and ended the call without giving the guy a chance to say anything else---treated him as though he were a nut instead of a voter with legitimate questions.  I was done.

One can quibble whether that's an endorsement or not, sounds like one to me.

Cruz appeared on Rush's show too.

Cruz parrots what Rush says; so, if folks talk nasty and talk about cheerleading, guess what? Rush doesn't backstab the Republican party and overall, I'm okay with that, we don't have Clinton or Obama in office which was an utter disaster every day.

Not to put you on the spot.... but do you have a bit of the transcript or a link that would back up your claim?  I remember that Rush was careful NOT to come out in support of any one candidate during the primaries.  Now.... that doesn't mean that Rush may not have defended one of the candidates (even Trump) against charges or lies by the rabid left during that time.

I agree.  I remember Rush saying some things right before Super-Tuesday that made it "convenient" for a conservative to support Trump.
Did it do any damage to Cruz' chances?  Who knows.....

Ehhh.... one caller does not a 'case' against Rush make, at least with me.

I'm still a Rush fan/listener.   Now.... if he EVER starts defending and/or supporting a gdamned Democrat or a leftist, that would change.

I've been listening to Rush for as long as I can remember... and I don't recall ANY liberal stances ... or stances of his that I disagreed with.  I suppose there could be something out there though.  Dunno.

Wrong. Rush Limbo and Sean Hannity did NOT support Trump during the primaries.

Only after he won the nomination (and Hannity more, Rush less vigorously), which is what normal people usually do. #nevertrump is the exception, not the norm.

But it does draw attention.
