Sanders statement regarding shooter being supporter stated he's 'sickened' and violence doesn't represent American values.  If he took a look at the political assassins in the nation's history and their political stances, he'd find the Left is fundamentally un-American.

The extremists on both sides eh.   I suppose there are some on the far right that advocate violence.  I haven't see any but I suppose there are some.  Perhaps you could provide a specific example??

I have seen MANY on the left advocate violence.   Everything from cutting fake heads off to the violence at marches.  Then there's the BLM folks shouting for dead cops.

To equate the two is simply dishonest.     The reality is the left is far more willing to use violence to accomplish their agenda.   Whether its the violence of their LGBTQ mafia or the govt agent enforcing their wet dreams of state control.

You clearly implied that Nevertrumpers here could commit violence. I know you have integrity, so come on.  Name names.  Or better yet, produce examples.  Otherwise, you can't be calling for people to take it down a notch and be calm when you just made a hell of an accusation.

The increase in violent rhetoric and in fact violence itself has been going on for at least the last several elections. I remember some guy being beaten because he was selling some kind of political memorabilia. Obama encouraged it and Trump was criticized for inciting it as well.

My take on the people who do this type of violence is that they are unstable individuals and if it wasn't politics that set them off it would be something else. A wife, ex-wife, girlfriend, road rage or the fact they were short changed at the convenience store.

This shooting will be politicized just like every other one has been. The access to guns of course will be blamed, Trump supporters will blame anyone who criticizes Trump etc. etc. The left will blame the policies of the right of course.

You can't do much about crazy people like this except to shoot back and there seem to be quite a few crazies around these days. Walking time bombs.

If it is Rush being discussed, I say that's better than backstabbing. Rush has supported Bush 43 and has been very friendly to almost all Republicans.  Never mind that Rush endorsed Cruz, more inconsistencies to reconcile somehow.

As a matter of fact if you look at history,  all the violence begins on the left,  and the body count is horrendous. 


The German Socialists (NAZIS)  killed 20 million people.   Russian Communism killed something like 30 million people.   Chinese Communism killed something like 80 million people.   The Khmer Rouge killed 3 or 4 million,    and the first socialist revolution (The French Revolution)  murdered thousands.   

Virtually all the assassinations in American History were left wing kooks.

I seldom listen to Rush anymore,   but ever so often during the campaign I would turn on the radio while driving and hear what he had to say.   


Prior to the primary I don't recall Rush supporting anyone.   I recall him going out of his way to avoid creating the impression that he was supporting any particular candidate.   


After the primary he did the only thing that a reasonable person would.   He supported the Republican nominee over the Psychotic Nazi hate witch.   


If he was supporting Trump prior to the primary,   that was wrong and he should have done it.    If he would not have supported the Republican nominee after the primary,  that would have been wrong,  and he should not have done it.

I think Rush's support of Trump now is merely enforcing his long-held anti-leftist political opinions and stance.  Much the same as with me, he is doing the only logical thing if/when you know and detest the left and their actions.  If I had a microphone and could get my voice out there, I would probably be doing the same thing.
