He did get Gorsuch in as SC Justice.

Nope the wall will never be built.

Nope Hillary will never see the inside of a jail cell.

Nope O'care is here FOREVER.

America first.....well...not so much....as he's trying to get us involved in WWIII.

I guess he's like Tim Tebow in a way....Tebow hits a homerun on his first outing.....  Now he'll be struck out a lot.

Whoever picked Gorsuch for him deserves praise but an actual conservative would have chosen Gorsuch or better anyway.

The wall -- not an ocean to ocean wall, but much more than we have now -- will get built.  Too important to Trump, and no real downside for Republicans to vote for it.  It's just a matter of which bill will include the money.

And Israel has bombed Syria about 12 times in the past 2 years, where does this lead us? I would not magnify one act too much by Trump; that has been welcomed almost universally in the global community, even the US foe in Iraq, Shia Cleric Sadr is saying Assad should step down, we may actually see that happen. Peace through Strength.

Come on, guys - why so thin-skinned?  If you have confidence that DJT will do what you said he would, I don't understand the massive defensiveness.

I'm no fan of Robert Reich, but he makes some good points in this post that's making the rounds...

The #12 about Trump taking vacations....   I kind of agree with him on that one.  Flying to Florida almost every weekend is costing us a ton.  He needs to stop that or pay for it himself.

@TomSea

1.  You're a Cruz supporter who regularly (obsessively) bashes him.  How about that?

2.  Most Cruz supporters are not mindless bots who take cues on what to think from Ted or any other politician.

@CatherineofAragon

Trumpettes don't understand a very simple concept:

If a pastor preaches truth, I will say Amen to the truth, but it is the TRUTH that I back, NOT the man.

During the primaries, Ted Cruz stood for conservatism and the truth, so - by proxy - I backed him. But like many a great pastor, men are imperfect. Truth, principle, and conservatism stands tall when men falter from time to time.

Trumpettes worship a man, not a truth.

The crazy thing is that Robert Reich feared Ted Cruz because he believed him.

I think the golfing is getting a bad rap.

Obama played golf as a form of recreation.  I don't recall ever hearing about him using it for business.  And I recall reading a lot of complains, from both sides of the aisle, that he really didn't
attempt to schmooze with/get to know, members of Congress.  For him, golf was just time away from his job.

Trump, like a lot of business types, seems to use golf as a way to break down barriers and work on deals.  I always hated playing golf with clients as a way to schmooze business, but the truth is that it is a more effective technique than it may "deserve" to be.  I didn't do it, but the guys who did made it productive.  Yeah, they enjoyed it, but they developed client relationships as well.

I don't have a problem with Trump doing that as a way of trying to get things done.

I'm no fan of his either.  In fact I'm such a non-fan I'd never post a word from that sawed-off little p***k here.  He is "political porn":  Absolutely NO redeeming qualities whatsoever.

The Secure Fence Act was voted on and accepted by both Houses and signed by "W" .... it hasn't been completely funded yet.  Congress already stated it's not in this year's budget.

That's the stuff they're trying to get passed before the government shuts down.  They can still add it later.

Gorsuch made it a point to advise that it was the Federalist Society  who first contacted him NOT the White House.

"Y'all"?  I'm a Trump-accepter.  He's far from the best we could do, but he is the President.

In other words, some Trump supporters have caught the NT flu. Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas, as they say.  Gee .. what a revelation!

They, unlike you, will be back.    ^-^

A bit snarky are we?  Hey, I tried to warn people about DJT as did many others.  He delivered on the 2 of the 3 issues; that mattered most to me -- stopping Hillary and replacing Scalia with a conservative. He attempted to halt the refugees and that's tied up in the lower courts.  That's it.  I didn't expect much.  He's one person; one person who thought he was going to be able to waltz in and run this country like every other business he's run.  He quickly has found out he has to get past those in Congress like Ryan, McCain and McConnell. Though McConnell did deliver with Gorsuch.  Until we rid the chambers of most of the RINO's, not a whole lot is going to change.

For the record I gave Trump a clean slate once he was sworn in. I thought his pre-inaugural festivities were awesome.  He is our president and I am not condeming him for his attack on Syria as obviously his supporters have.  I believe he made a choice based on the info given to him by Mattis and McMasters. The DEMS and RINO's vowed that they would try to destroy him...that's always been,  Did you think that the DEMS and RINO's in Congress would have some kind of epiphany and change their minds on him?  He was an extremely unpopular candidate in the eyes of Congress from the beginning.  He has made the mistake of aligning himself with Ryan, when Lee, Cruz and Meadows met with him over Bammycare.  Sorry, you misjudged your Super Hero and I hope the rest of your day goes better.

Definitely not going to get funded in this year's budget, that was already made abundantly clear.

When it comes to refighting the 2015/2016 primaries... I respond to snark in kind @libertybele  :shrug:

I still submit that the surest way to be a happy group again is for the posters compelled to replay over and over again their disappointment stand down and join the team on the field.

Just a thought ...
