The admin's start has been a little rough, but nowhere near this writer's hyperventilation.

Total Amen to that.

The President has had only two major setbacks.  One is the ill-conceived health care bill and that is big but not fatal as it can always be presented again in a better package.

And the second is not really important if put in perspective.  It is Trump's tweeting.

On the plus side, everyone in America finds out what Trump is thinking as soon as the New York Times and Barney Frank does.

On the minus side, the tweets occur when Trump is at his low point ... in the wee hours after restless sleep.

On the plus side, the most vilified and laughed at tweet (about Obama spying on him) is now proving to be true.  Yay.

It's ironic.  The idiot left pressholes attack, fabricate fake news, harass and report 'with extreme bias' every move Trump makes and every syllable uttered from his mouth for the past ten weeks....  and then they come out with this steaming pile of...er... uh...observation.  Well..... duh.

Nice that the idiot left always manages to state the effing obvious, after the fact, re: something that they, themselves, are partially (mostly) responsible for.  Trump has been put under an ultra-biased microscope for those past ten weeks.  The ONLY thing he has failed America on is the Ryancare debacle.  Yet still they bleat....

And for the record.... even  in  total disarray and disunity.... GOP rule is still 100 (more like a zillion) times better than the damned Democratic Party's ""governing"".... which essentially equates to ramming their radical, leftist policies down every American's throats in true olde Soviet Russia tyranny-style.  Leftists want mob rule as with Obama and under a Clinton presidency, they would have continued to have it.  No, I'm not talking about the mob that represents throngs of people.  I'm talking about the DC mafia-style entitlement-pimp elitists.

So stuff it, lefties.  You can't do any better. You haven't done any better.  Not that you would ever acknowledge or admit that.  The only thing you do differently is march is lock-step when it comes to furthering your leftist goals AGAINST the will of most Americans.  To more of that I say... not just no...

but HELL no.

The leftist agenda is being continued with all the RINO's in Congress/Senate who have vowed to take down this President.  This is something that Trump himself knew before he took office, this is something that many of us tried to explain to his supporters in the primary. He is being quite foolish if he thinks he can trust the likes of Ryan or McConnell and he is a fool to think that the Freedom Caucus is what's standing in his way. He is a fool to try to appease the establishment; that's not what got him elected.

You stated that Bammycare is the only thing that he has failed on ... well, the reality of the matter is the funding for the wall has been delayed. IF it isn't in the budget this year and doesn't make the budget next year during an election year and we don't retain the majority or if our majority is significantly reduced, you can pretty much conclude that the wall may not be.  His attempt to ban immigrants from certain areas is still being fought. Gorsuch's nomination is not guaranteed.

Those are the big issues; the very issues that got him elected and so far, he really hasn't been able to come through on any of them.  Granted its early in the game, but so far unfortunately, it's a game he seems to be losing and losing bigly.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Its who he is and its not going to change or get better. It will get worse.

We were told how he would begin to act presidential once he had the nomination in hand. He didn't. We were told he would act presidential once he gets into office. He didn't. Now I'm hearing that we've got to give him 6 months or a year and he'll settle into acting presidential. Its not going to happen. He's the same  tabloid TV celebrity he was in the 1980s and he isn't going to change.

Frankly I expect him to either resign or switch parties while blaming everybody else. Which route he chooses is entirely dependent on which will garner the most attention.

We were told.  I don't know who you've been listening to but no one I know expected Trump to change as President.

But he has.  He has been much better than I expected.  He's made some mistakes but he's done many good things.  He's stayed at the White House most nights.

He's fighting against all the democrats and half the Republicans and 2/3 of the people in TBR.

Because he has stayed at the White House most nights, we're supposed to see that as a bonus?  Last time I checked, he should be staying at the White House.

You are 100% correct, he's fighting against the DEMS and 1/2 the PUBS and 2/3 of the people in here and he needs to be given credit for that.  The fight isn't over by any means and I'm not so sure that if someone else had won the DEMS would have calmed after their loss.  One thing is for sure though, if he thinks he can become part of the swamp in order to advance his agenda, he will fail.

The reality of the matter is that @XenaLee is exactly right.

I am sure that YOU could do much better but what everyone has forgotten is that a few months ago we were doomed to a continuation of Obama with Hillary.

What would you have whined about then?  Oh, my.

As I see it, Trump has done pretty well, far better than I expected and his one big failure can be rectified.  I don't pay any attention to the temper tantrums after the defeat...  they are certainly not as bad as the temper tantrums I see here from people who expected him to part the Red Sea in his first week in office.

He has had successes.  I could name them but you're not interested.  Much more fun to damn him and blame him.

I don't give a damn about the wall right now.  Border enforcement is more than that.  It's enforcing the damn laws already on the books for a refreshing change.... unlike what the previous administration did.  The construction of a wall is going to take time anyway.  It's not like one can, even with funding, be put up overnight.

Trump's attempt to keep radical terrorists out of this country, which is being thwarted by some ahole rogue leftist judges, is of primary importance to me.  Even repealing Obamacare is secondary to that.... because if the terrorists succeed in hitting us hard... like with nukes (they only have to be right once, we have to be right all the time).... all other issues will be moot as we struggle for our very survival.

The perception of Trump "losing and losing bigly" is being perpetrated and pushed by the idiot left.  I don't listen to them....evah.

Coincidentally, 2/3 of the people on TBR are disgusted Conservatives that left or were booted by the Trump Davidians at TOS.

He is also fighting hard against sanctuary cities.  Cities which break the law daily by refusing to deport illegal aliens who commit crimes.  In fact, they protect them.

Now, these sanctuary places are whiiiining because the feds cutting their funds will cripple their law enforcement ability.  Yeah, right, why aren't they being laughed out of town.

The majority of Americans do not want 'sanctuary cities'.... which translates to 'cities that encourage law-breakers to dwell'.  Cry me a river for them and those that push that agenda.  They, the leftists, are (as usual) trying to rule against the will of the people.  Screw em.  Throw the book at them when they break the law.

You and many others here sound more like dems than conservatives .... all because of your hatred of Donald Trump.

How about getting over it for a few months and giving him a chance?

Or are you just having way too much fun?

Thank you for revealing a total lack of understanding of government.  And you tried to tell us stuff during the primary.

We may not get a wall tomorrow ... unless it's around Obama's little white house compound ... but Trump is working hard to stop illegals from certain countries from coming in ... and Obama flew (in somebody's jet) to Hawaii to put the screws on a judge here to rule against this law.  I guess that's Trump's fault also.

In the meantime, he is giving ICE and border agents the power to actually do their jobs and fighting sanctuary cities.

I am sorry Trump didn't come to your house and explain this to you.

I love tex-mex.  I add a container of Jalapeno Bean Dip to the meat for flavor and texture (the meat mixture sticks together that way).  I then use the mixture for tacos and for nachos.

Great argument on the merits, @TomSea !

Just what I would expect from a Trumpette!
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

Thanks for posting that info, @TomSea

While they're gnashing their teeth, he will go down in history as being one of the very great successes for America and its People.

A true Warrior!

Wait... should I post one of those laughy face responses that TomSea thinks is reasonable debate?

It seems fitting to this ridiculous, sycophantic response.
