equal outcomes is not the goal of the ACHA (or the ACA, for that matter).

Such lies and bullshiite from our resident Leftist.

The goal of Obamacare as stated by the authors and it's proponents to their own Leftist Audiences, was to completely collapse the Health Insurance Industry and force the country to accept Single Payer Government-run Healthcare.  It was to be sold and marketed to the emptying class of Joe Sixpacks as 'affordable health care'.   That big lie keeps on lying and people like you keep repeating the lie.   ObamaCare was the means to the The ultimate 'redistribution' of everything into the hands of government.

That the GOP's 'bandaid' to "fix" something that was never intended to do anything but destroy and collapse the system is as much a pretentious fraud as you are.

The GOP, Trump and Leftists like you are as for Socialized Medicine and Central Planning medical care as Lenin and Marx ever were.

When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

As Reagan stated, government is the problem, not the solution.

And Jazzy's stated ideology on this board is that Christians and 'selfish Conservatives' are the problem and government is the answer.

Leftest always contradict themselves. They want government to do stuff and when the consequences of that action comes due they demand more government to fix the problems they just created building on itself in a larger and larger vortex taking everything down the drain.

Nope.  Get The Bleep Out is indeed a "policy prescription."  What's foolish is expecting the same people who bleeped it up to fix it.  See Einstein's definition of insanity.  Call it a rant if it makes you feel better, but you are a fool if you think government has the best interests of the people who've been screwed at heart.  News for ya, scooter:  They don't.

Paranoid, aren't we?   You know, you're just not that interesting.

I'm chagrined.

Wanting honest, effective, principled, accountable, and, yes, limited government doesn't make one a leftist.  Wanting no role for government at all, though, does make one a crackpot.

Try reading the constitution and bill of rights. What the federal government has jurisdiction of is spelled out and everything else left to the states.

Nowhere in the constitution is the federal government granted authority of our healthcare.

Nowhere in the constitution does it allow government to take the labor of some people to give to other people to make life "fair".

And since you ignored it on the other thread:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

― C.S. Lewis

He was talking about people like you. Those who know what's best for you and are determined to make you abide by it by force. And yes, that's leftest.

I am a crackpot? I want American exceptionalism to win out. I don't want cradle-to-grave socialism, in order to be like Greece, France and Sweden.

Just a few years ago, Sweden was cited by leftists as support for their planned workers' paradise in America. Sweden where they fantasize importing nearly illiterate muslims will pay their extravagant social programs, since the native born Swedes no longer reproduce at replacement levels.

Hopefully American exceptionalism means we wake up to the reality, that benefits and programs, on top of benefits and programs, cannot be sustained.

If avoiding Greece types of outcomes makes me a crackpot, so be it. Crackpots of America Unite!! The future of America is in your hands.

BTW we STILL have not been given an honest accounting of health care fedgov/state gov costs during Obamacare.

Is it self-supporting? Breakeven, of losing? Did the health care industry wrote Ryancare this time ???
