Barack Obama is turning his new home in the posh Kalorama section of the nation's capital - just two miles away from the White House - into the nerve center of the mounting insurgency against his successor, President Donald J. Trump.

Obama's goal, according to a close family friend, is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment.

And Obama is being aided in his political crusade by his longtime consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, who has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million Kaloroma mansion with  the former president and Michelle Obama, long time best friends.

Jarrett played a vital - if at times low-key - role in the Obama presidency. She lived in the White House, dined with the Obamas, and help shape his domestic and foreign policies.

During eight years in office Obama's key advisor had very few articles ever written about her, which I thought quite odd.  The few I do remember detailed her family background and past government positions - talk about failing your way up the ladder, she's the poster child.

But in the latter part of Obama's term she would show up at a symposium or two plus grant the occasional interview.  Here again these would receive very little press play.  Beyond a smattering of conservative bloggers she remained for the most part the Mystery Troll.

As red flags go they don't come much bigger.  Here you have the key advisor in America shaping every policy foreign and domestic essentially remaining in the shadows.  It just didn't pass the smell test that even Conservative media outlets would basically have a hands off policy when it came to Valerie Jarrett.  Every political advisor I can remember going back to Jimmy Carter received their share of press play.  What gives?

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts an intrepid journalist wouldn't have to dig too deep to uncover a handful of dirty little secrets.  And I'll also bet good money they revolve around the Muslim Brotherhood.

And if my hunch proves correct it begs the question, "Why have Conservative media outlets taken a hands off policy when it comes to Valerie Jarrett and the Muslim Brotherhood?"
