It’s time for another panic attack among Republicans. All that work Trump did to come back in September appears to be going south, and that’s not a good thing:
10 points nationally is terrible. But that’s just one poll (Fairleigh Dickinson Poll).

Looking at other national polls, it’s clear since the debate that the national trend is that Hillary’s lead is growing (click to enlarge):

Looking at the RCP averages of polls for each battleground state since the first debate, it’s not good at all for Trump:


Colorado: Clinton +11

Florida: Clinton +2.3

Iowa: No Post Debate Polling Avg – Overall Trump +5

Michigan: Clinton +6

Nevada: Clinton +2.5

New Hampshire: No Post Debate Polling Avg – Overall Clinton +6.0

North Carolina: Clinton +6.0

Ohio: Trump +1.5

Pennsylvania: Clinton +7.7

Virginia: No Post Debate Polling Avg – Overall Clinton +7

14 million GOP primary voters went for Trump.

17 million GOP primary voters went for somebody else.

So, Trump did NOT win a majority of GOP primary voters.  He won a plurality.  And he's having trouble getting more than 40% of the vote, anywhere.

Your 'neocons' still have their hands on the levers of power (RNC, congressional leadership) in collusion with Trump... And when he loses, they will be more powerful than ever, since Trump has falsely wrapped himself in the Conservative mantle. They will use that to claim the fault was Conservatism.
