A handful of dead-enders trying desperately to seem relevant, waving their arms as if anyone cares how they'll vote on November 8. Look at me look at me, I'm important. NeverTrump is what was.

They are a political glitch, a psychological tic, a spasm of self importance -- but in the end meaningless as the Trump Train rolls on by, gathering steam, and astonishing the political pundit world.

Gee, I really liked those paragraphs. Even if I do say so myself.  888high58888

So if we're so insignificant, why do we get under your very thin skin?

You must have slept through his victory speech @Sanguine, why don't you go back and review to it?

Keep your  :dx1: open for the words 'first and foremost I want to thank Sarah Palin'.

Or maybe Cruz was just lying to Sarah PAC when he wrote the following...

“We started out as underdogs in a long, competitive primary. But despite the odds being stacked against us, Governor Palin and SarahPAC showed daring leadership by endorsing my campaign. The Governor’s vision and the support of patriots like you helped transform my long-shot candidacy into victory on election night.”

Either way, its no surprise that his fanatics have selective memories when it comes to St. Teddy of Calgary.

Well, that proves it then.  Cruz thanked Palin for endorsing him so she must have been the reason he won his senatorial race.  Wait - what?

Oh, we're all heading on the ride down.  What's at stake is what pieces will be left to pick up.   Conservatism after Trump will be tainted with the stench of racialism.   Lots of folks have fought for years to separate our cause from the bigots.  It is the rightness of that struggle that requires me to continue to be #NeverTrump.

@Jazzhead

That's another worrisome thing.  We're losing the next generation of conservatism and likely more because of Trump.  Many on our side are dumping our core values because to do so is to oppose the nominee.  The party of Lincoln is now the party of Trump.  We've forfeited the right to talk about moral values...the next time we try, people will laugh and say, "Are you serious?  You nominated Donald Trump."

Simply because the Convention lights have gone dark months ago.  Donald Trump compared to Hillary Clinton is a breath of fresh air.

Instead...you insist on still fighting at Bunker Hill, while the rest of us are at the Appomattox Court House.

Well, if you're at Appomattox Court House, stop by and say hi, because you're about five minutes down the road from me.

I don't see a dime's worth of difference between Clinton and her friend/donor/praiser.

Those who promoted Trump & now try to blame looming defeat on those who didn't are bit like kids who kill parents & plead mercy as orphans.

And those who defended the murderers of their parents (See:  Menendez brothers) are much like Trump supporters who are now defending every single flip-flop and gaffe that Trump makes, even while assuring folks that Trump is "sincere".... and even while attempting to shame any dissenters for sticking to their principles.  Same liberal dumbfukkery in all its 'glory'.

Speaks to your character that you would tell someone who prayed for you and hoped your brief dalliance with a scary health threat should shut up when talking about mankind's nature to eschew things of God.

Oh well.

Stop with the guilt... @INVAR

It doesn't make you a bigger man or a better man.   It just throws into question your sincerity regarding said health threat, for mentioning it.

My post telling you to shut up comes on the heels of months of your pontificating and your paranoia.

Yet when I showed you proof that "their side" has plans for exterminating 25 million capitalist....you lost your tongue.

Let me know where I can find a link of any Trump supporter engaged in domestic terror or death squads....I'd love to see it.

You are truly in a clASS by yourself.   A real limbo champ we have here....  You are as low as you go.

Really?

Well....DC....you should see yourself from my perspective.  You're the one launching the personal insults and attacks here....endlessly, it seems.  Gives new meaning to the term you Trump folks love to use......'butthurt'.  clASS indeed.

@DCPatriot

Thank you, DC.  I appreciate that.

There's a lot of condescension going both ways and we're all taking part in it.  For my part, of course I know I'm no better than a Trump voter...I'm no better than anyone.  I just truly, for the life of me, don't get a lot of what goes into supporting him.

My father-in-law is a businessman and a problem solver, too.  He's behind Trump probably as strongly as you are.  He isn't a billionaire, but he's never had any bankruptcies and in fact his business has grown every year since he began it.  I told him he'd be a better candidate than Trump....hell, either of you would, most likely.   ^-^

My point is made, then.   Business owners and self-reliant people view the landscape differently than someone who punches in and out each day.

Doesn't make them better than anyone else.   It's just some insight into how Trump views the world....and the problems we all face.

No, its really about the insipid Cruz fanatics who put their failed candidate up on a pedestal and attack anyone who dares criticize them or him.

Why do pro-Trump people keep wasting their efforts haranguing Republicans who do not want to vote for Trump, even though their votes would be meaningless?

Yes, that's right: meaningless.

As I keep trying to tell you people, there simply aren't enough GOP voters left to elect anyone. Republicans compose about 25-27% of the electorate, and are disproportionately spread among relatively low-electoral vote states. Do the math.

To win the Presidency as a Republican, the candidate needs the votes of Independent voters in a few key swing states (OH, PA, VA, NC, FL), and to hold on to all of the states that McCain and Romney won, and that's where Trump is falling short.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

I never thought this would happen- but Levin is right- either Hitlery or Trump will sit in the Oval Office.

I have the utmost respect for Mark Levin and for Andrew Wilkow and they are both facing reality and supporting Trump.

I cannot fathom having the corrupt lying shrew become POTUS.

I thought Mark had declared himself at one point as a NeverTrump guy.  Oh well, that doesn't matter to me.  I like Levin, but I'm still a NeverTrump guy.

(The funny thing about the whole controversy is the way the Trumpsters have trashed Cruz for breaking his promise to endorse the eventual GOP candidate--and yet the Trumpsters are demanding that we NeverTrump guys break our promise never to vote for Trump.  Mark can do whatever he wants, and I assume that he has wrestled long and hard with his conscience in voting for a swine.  As for me, I am going to keep my promise.)

You projecting now?   I don't even know what the hell you're bleating about.  I don't "ping" anybody.  That sounds more like you and your cohorts who love that "mention" feature.

As for you calling somebody ELSE dense for not understanding about having a difference of opinion....that is, quite literally, the 'nth' of hypocrisy on your part.  In fact, it's laughable....considering how you attack and impugn anyone with a different opinion than YOURS.

You were asked by Myst to put me on ignore.   Naturally, you refused to comply.  It speaks volumes about you and your persona here.

No.  He hadn't.

If you don't want to listen to him, that's fine - but relying on what the social-mediuh morons say about him is a dangerous way to form conclusions.  He repeatedly said he was waiting for Trump to offer some positive reason for conservatives and patriots to vote for him - that cheerleaders and funny faces and raised middle fingers were not enough.
