Like all news stories this election cycle, it's hard to tell which are accurate and which are not. Whatever one personally thinks of Trump, there is no doubt what we refer to as the MSM is not only not on his side, but it appears they are out to get him.

Someone should mention to them that there is another candidate in this race with plenty of issues of her own they can cover on occasion

I always find responses interesting, they say more about the person posting than they do about the point being made.

For example, you make the claim this is a left wing site, probably so. But what evidence do you choose to support that claim?

Nobody's view of Trump is going to be changed because of the debates. Those who think Trump is a jerk (the majority) will have that reinforced. Those who think Hillary is too slick will have that reinforced. 90% of voters have their minds made up.

Trump is ignorant, and that ignorance will show through in the debate. Nobody can make up for a lifetime of intellectual neglect in a month. Ask Trump where Afghanistan is on a map, or, for the fourth time, what the nuclear triad is.

He couldn't tell you.

I disagree....heartily. My 'view' was changed drastically just due to his behavior on the last day and day after the convention.

There are probably many who are still planning to hold their noses and vote for Trump....only in order to vote against Hillary. If, however, Trump shows his rather large and detestable @ss too much in the debate(s).....they could and quite possibly will just say "the hell with it" and either not vote at all or do as others are doing.....vote down ballot but not for the presidential slot.

Joe Biden was Donald Trump in the 2012 VP debates, didn't prevent him from winning.

I do agree with Sinkspur that perhaps precious few will be converted from the debates, but I don't think Trump has anything to lose at this point.

To a degree, yes. However I have watched one pattern repeat for the last 20 years. Every election the candidates get more and more liberal and every year people get closer and closer to election day before making a decision. In fact, I have read posts by many people in the last 4 years saying they fear voted on election day.

Trump and Clinton can do anything they like between now and the election. For the majority, it will come down to how they 'feel' when they wake up on election day. And of that vast majority of voters, not a single one of them cares enough about their country to vote to stop either liberal. They are moral cowards of the worst kind.
