He also thinks gay marriage is no big thing.

As I understand it Flynn seems to think Israel needs to lose their nukes.

We have been asked to get this thread back on topic. And topic was neither Israel nor Jesus.

Exactly right. A people who sanction killing a baby in the womb cannot understand justice.
An unjust people are doomed to consume each other, or be consumed from without. Violence or cowardice will be their end.
It is an utterly predictable, almost mechanical conclusion.

Well said.  There is no justice if the weakest among us are slaughtered by the millions.

The topic is Flynn's suitability for VP.  It is true that, back in January in an interview with Al-Jazeera, Flynn said he favored denuclearization of the Middle East:

I have been disturbed to see some Trump supporters admit that they think it's A-OK for Trump to lie in order to get more votes.

What is the difference between a lie that is told with bad intent....and a lie that is told with good intent? ...I ask this because something may be the truth but it doesn't mean it's not deceptive...as is said..."Like all valuable commodities, truth is often counterfeited"....when a woman puts on make-up she's created a mask of who she really is...is that a lie?

Unfortunately the population today live by 'beliefs'...... And beliefs can be manipulated......be they those who oppose Trump or those who favor him...and even those in between.

So Trump's lies are OK?  That's a yes or no question.

Good luck with that. I mean it. The title of this thread had two words that inflame people....abortion and Trump.

I think that is a rhetorical question.

So this place has become another safe space for the Trump crowd.

Pathetic.

Some of Trump supporters on this site, have been here for years. And were/are adult enough, to deal with different viewpoints.

As of today, I realize we are now in a small minority. If our presence bothers you, please report that fact to owners and mods.

You're right flowers.  The fact that Donald Trump is pro-abortion makes many of us very angry.

The fact that he's looking at another pro-abort to be his VP, while not surprising, is also angering.....

The topic is possible VP choice Lt General Michael T Flynn, and his political views are very much the topic of this thread

There is no difference between the two; they are both lies.

You're asking a woman who doesn't wear make-up if make-up is a lie.  Besides that, make-up doesn't make us *who* we are, any more than clothes do.  Shall we all walk around naked so as not to be accused of hiding something?

I cannot think of a lie that a politician could tell, whether it is an outright lie or a lie of omission, that would be acceptable.

So you think it impossible that a 70-74 year old [obese/overweight, out-of-shape, toxic] man [who lives day-to-day (on raw nerves) with sleep deprivation] could die?

Just adding a few other possibilities. :)

Does not smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs. Father lived to age 93; mother lived to age 88.

I notice who you don't mention.

Democrats, leftists, liberals, socialists, communists, or fascists.

Ha!

Those go without saying! If the other ones I mentioned I consider left, then the ones you mentioned are even farther left... You do understand this, don't you?

I found a 'very' interesting video interview of Trump from the 90's........this was when he was going thru his divorce but then the topic leads to political business, trade etc.......regarding this country.....and his approach to live....surprisingly, to me, he's saying these 'very same' things to day.....it certainly was an eye opener....and he speaks very distinctly....

He might be a victim of Lead poisoning.   Or ... He might of eaten paint chips in his fathers rent controlled tenement houses as a child......

It looks like the Mods don't approve of the words "Zombie Jesus" or "Raptor Jesus".

Maybe they should explain why?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's likely because they are highly offensive menes.

Yes, those old interviews really highlight mental degradation over time.
