And I'm pretty sure he didn't just happen to run across this site!

I guarantee it.  Landing on this site is no accident.

Simple. His success in the business world. He has tried and failed and gotten back up to more success. He will the left hard, and make sure they don't get back up. He'll actually enforce immigration laws.

I'm just tired of losing everything. Culture Wars, government battles, etc. Just tired of losing.

Tired of losing?  So  sell your soul to the devil?  What ever could go wrong with that.

@roamer_1, you have the patience of a saint!

Totally agree....

And much wisdom as well.

I'm happy to have @roamer_1 as a fellow member of this fine forum!   :patriot:

I supported Rubio and was rooting for him but his not running now. Trump is.
He is the R candidate. I have always supported the repub Candiate and am not changing now

Ahh. a mere Republican. Have at it... Pull the lever for the big, rhinestone "R". Not me. I have found that particular pastime to be highly unrewarding.

So you WANT a boorish ass? It seems you mistake 'boorish ass' for 'fighter'... It is truly amazing to me how many do.

What business success?  He could have simpl taken his father's money and invested it in an S&P 500 index fund and been FAR richer than he is today.  But that kind of thing isn't possible for him! He just HAS to be in the spotlight.

Like I said, I respect your points, but I disagree. At this point I just want to beat Hillary, and to be honest Cruz was not going to do any better in the pools. Only Rubio and Kasich. I would be supporting them too if they had got this far.

@musiclady Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot, my apologies. I just don't understand why so many conservatives complain when we wanted an outsider for years. It feels to me now that was just all talk.

What you don't seem to get is that Trump is NOT an outsider!  He is, in fact, the ULTIMATE insider!

Sorry, but he is not a good model of 'business success'. I would highly recommend that you vet your candidate honestly.

I am assuming you meant something like 'He will hit the left hard [...]'...

Why would you assume that when he is so very clearly of and from the left? His thinking is liberal/socialist. Again, please vet your candidate.

Ahhh. There it is. I am afraid that your attachment to the big loud guy in an effort to win something for once has clouded your sight... What is it, exactly, that you will 'win'?

Let me pose the question another way:

It is the principles of Conservatism - Those natural, self-evident, and undying truths - It is only those principles which are the remedy to the path this country is on. How can it possibly be a win to cast the remedy aside in the name of 'winning'?

The 'win' can only be a Pyrrhic victory, in which one really wins nothing at all. See?

No Conservative wanted a deceitful, ignorant, boorish, anti-Constitutional, liberal "outsider" (who is actually a left-supporting member of the donor class) to run for President as a Republican.

The idea that there is any conservatism in Donald Trump is a leftist lie.

As for "getting off on the wrong foot"........... ya think??  You attacked me as some sort of anti-Christian leftist wacko because I expect a Presidential candidate to respect women.  You lectured me on something you are completely empty-headed about, and tried to pretend that you were conservative and I was not, when the opposite is true, and you attacked my faith when I have lived it for 60 years.

That's a lot more than "getting off on the wrong foot."   It's proving you are doing nothing but trolling in your first two days on this forum.

REAL men respect women, child.  REAL Christians aren't serial adulterers, and they don't lie pathologically about who they are and what they believe.

Your hero is a buffoon and a degenerate.  And if you're being paid to attack Christian Conservatives, you are failing miserably.

Don't quit your day job.

My apologies for the typo... was going too fast there. Understand your point, that you feel Donald is not a conservative. But let me ask you this: If the Democrats win, and import another 10 million illegals and more Muslims, etc, how will we win ever again? These people will vote democrat until they die.

Trump is a Social Justice Warrior

he dissed Scalia over affirmative action
he has praise for Caitlyn Jenner
he loves him some Planned Parenthood
he wants to stop the media from criticizing him
he blamed "Draw Mohammad" for the Garland terror attack (last year)
he puts profit over property rights
he loves tax-subsidized alternative energy
he loved the dreamers and illegals in 2012
he did believe in the climate hoax too

He is not a "fighter" except hating on those who call him on his BS.

Trump, in his own universe, is the most politically correct candidate in the race.

Mr. Gang of 8 and a man who was a "comfy middle between Hillary and Bernie", very much YES

My apologies for the typo... was going too fast there. Understand your point, that you feel Donald is not a conservative. Trump can't be trusted to believe these things. He was a Hillary supporter not too long ago. Trump said he loves Muslims and would put one in his cabinet. He has no intention of building a wall or mass deportations.

There is just not enough difference between Trump and Hillary to make one better than the other.

Kaisch certainly sucks. Rubio is pretty Conservative, but a dead-man-walking politically for his gang-of-eight immigration stance (which Trump's position now nearly imitates).

Trump has a lifetime of crap, everything wrong with this perverted society he has been a part of

he hasn't changed

I am not one who will ignore a candidates past and I am never going to believe in sudden conversions either
