We've been voting in this manner since Dole sir, and it has become clear it is just an exercise in insanity and futility. This has been the mantra since Reagan left office: "vote for the RINO or be guilty of voting for the Socialist/Communist".
There is a WORLD of difference between a candidate foisted upon us by the establishment republicans, and a candidate foisted upon us by the populous, ignorant though they may be.
There were two, count them, two anti-establishment candidates in this race.
The absolute best; the Constitution candidate, despised by the establishment because he threatened their "Status Quo", was Cruz.
Cruz was, unfortunately, beaten, by the schoolyard bully who decided he wanted to be president and ran a dirty campaign.
The schoolyard bully is equally despised by the establishment because he, too, threatens the establishment "Status Quo".
The thing that the schoolyard bully has behind him, though, is millions of stary-eyed dullard voters to help push him over the finish line in the general, to end the status-quo of the establishment, and a team of actual Constitutional-conservative consultants to help shape his policy.
