It's the Hitler/Mussolini graphics that the owners asked not be posted.

Not good enough for some apparently.

News items and historical Comparisons, legitimate or not must be abolished for the sake of fragile sensibilities .  We cannot have such discussions, even if the candidate's own families bring it up in public.

At least that is the impression I get from one individual here who is making an art form of grievance towards the moderators.

Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Well, it was a news item, and this Hitler stuff seems to be going around.  I don't see it the same as members tossing it out.  But how much further off the rails should the thread go?
Let  it go all the way. It is what each and everyone here truly thinks. Pro-neverTrump and pro-trump member's why hide it? It was a comment she made. So fair game for all to see.

It's unavoidable.  In this case his wife brought the issue to focus ... let's see the next couple seated in the oval office may very well be a Hitler clone and a porn star!  Gee ... no wonder the world no longer respects us.  I find them both an embarrassment.

Of course you do. You are flawless.

In an extensive interview, Melania Trump defended her husband's repeated calls for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States while pushing back against critics who compare him to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

Melania Trump, who gave an interview to DuJour magazine, said in the piece that her husband is "not Hitler," but did say that he needs to make his case for such a ban "in a softer way." She was responding to the comedian Louis C.K., who compared presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump to the Nazi leader.

You get wrong impressions. Funny, I don't recall seeing Trump supporters here making insulting comparisons of Cruz.

A stupid, irrational, juvenile comparison.

To my way of thinking, the comparison with Hitler has nothing to do with his stance on Muslims, and everything to do with the drooling, screaming, orgasmic adulation displayed by his sycophantic followers.

Stop complaining like a spoiled brat toddler.

Excuse me, but what was it the Mod said somewhat earlier today?

"Personal insults are not acceptable here, no matter which candidate you might support."

Is that a fact?

No offense but with all the bad info on the net it gets frustrating!
Melania was never a porn star, and posting it over and over gets embarrassing.

I am not picking on just you. But the rest of the gang, that continues to post this crap! **nononono*

That's in the TCG, not the open forum. I rarely visited so I wasn't even aware. But since you posted the link I looked all the way back to the beginning (before my sign up date) and saw that it wasn't nearly as bad as the constant open forum attacks made on Trump and his supporters. Fact is most of the TCG stuff is pro Trump.

I've posted stuff in that Trump graphics thread - probably some about Cruz.  But, you can go back to last fall - when there was NO TCG - and you can see infantile insulting Trump graphics all over the site.  At that time - many Trumpers were very much in favor of Cruz - I was myself.  We did not reciprocate very much with insulting Cruz graphics.

Finally, after the lustre wore off of my Cruz support and after enduring a lot of insulting Trump graphics - I just reached a point where I didn't care - just started dishing it back and posting the funny ones.  I make no apologies, Cruz sure hasn't.

The insult compounded and nothing done.

Wasn't there some discussion about Trump supporters being held to a higher standard than his detractors? One wonders from whence that crazy notion ever arose.

What a clever, clever response to Repub4Trump's statement regarding the remarkably ugly smear that Melania was a porn star.

Terribly witty.

What Hitler-like damage are you anticipating from President Trump?

Perhaps Melania doesn't recognize the similarity; that they are both demagogic opportunists!

Harvard professor compares Donald Trump's rise to Hitler's

..."Watching Donald Trump's rise, I now understand," she added.

She then went on to explain "how a demagogic opportunist can exploit a divided country." She urged Trump's critics not to stand by passively as he gains support among Republican primary voters.

Allen wrote:

Trump is rising by taking advantage of a divided country. The truth is that the vast majority of voting Americans think that Trump is unacceptable as a presidential candidate, but we are split by strong partisan ideologies and cannot coordinate a solution to stop him. Similarly, a significant part of voting Republicans think that Trump is unacceptable, but they too, thus far, have been unable to coordinate a solution. Trump is exploiting the fact that we cannot unite across our ideological divides.

Hitler rose to power on a nationalist message. He told the German people that they were exceptional and played on feelings of disenfranchisement....

Have you noticed the similarity of Trump followers to the Brown Shirts of the 1920 and 30's in pre-Nazi Germany.  They followed there "notional" leaders teachings and ridiculed anyone who where not believers.

I don't know and I'm just guessing, but "Harvard Professor" sounds like a Democrat or Socialist or Marxist to me - Republican doesn't come to mind...

I find it ironic that many NeverTrumps find inspiration from Democrats and others that want anything but GOP unity.
