I read this commentary at the link. What do you think?

The photo is staged and he is DELIBERATELY showing us a photo of Marla. The question is why. Fanning more media speculation to suck up attention? Trying to show what a stud he still is (to offset the embarassing revelations about his failures in the bedroom)? An adulterous call-out to Marla? Trying to keep Melania in line by signaling he may still be interested in Marla? This is WEIRD, creepy, pervy, and definitely not normal. And what a stupid, insulting way to try to attract Hispanic voters.

Evidently Marla was recently featured the on the cover of People Magazine with the by-line “Marla Maples Opens Up - My Life With Donald”.

It is well known that Trump reads everything in every type of publication, that is about him or references him because he is a narcissist.

My guess is also that he wanted to make sure Marla didn’t say anything bad about him as he would use that as his excuse to sue her for breaching the confidentiality agreements he is so fond of making everyone who was married to him, dated him, works for him (or even volunteers for his campaign).

And yes, he’s also a perv.

FR is dead now because all intellectual integrity has left the building. Reasoned discussion has been replaced with mindless mindless sound bites and vile insults. Jim Rob may as well get rid of the big server, because after this election he will be able to run FR from an iPad.

Big server?    All its doing is processing text and not really that much of it.   Could probably run it off a small pc.

The mans speaks at an eight grade level for a reason. hed knows his loyal followers do not like words over 3 syllables. Most of his sentences are less than 10 words because he understands the sound bite mentality of his minions. God forbid he should express a cogent thought that entails specifics or details. If he gave details he would have no room to back track or walk his misspoken thought back.

All his supporters and followers are just childish fools? What nonsense. You must be a former FRer.

Mass hysteria. It's real, and you're part of it. Wake up.

I'd much rather be associated with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Donald_Trump_presidential_campaign_endorsements,_2016 than a dope supporter.

Possibly the pic of Marla in the photo was a Clintoesque threat?

Possibly. It may have been meant as a subtle/not so subtle message to Marla to be careful of what she says.

She “only” got around 2 million from the divorce settlement – not chump change but then again shockingly small considering his wealth, or as a NY writer once said, it was akin to Trump digging under the couch cushions for loose change and throwing it at Marla.

One of the speculations was that the reason Trump dumped her when he did was that if they stayed married much longer, per the terms of the pre-nup, she would have gotten much more. Trump did pay for his daughter Tiffany’s schooling and I’m sure for other things but evidently didn’t have much to do with her upbringing or from what I understand, not a whole lot of contact with her either.

Now that Tiffany is over 21, living in NYC, in college and on the campaign trail with the Trump-O-Rama, Marla may be feeling a financial pinch and hence the DWTS appearance and all the recent magazine and TV interviews.

Marla also not long ago (2013) auctioned off items from her marriage to Trump.

Perhaps Trump is afraid that Marla if financially stressed, may be more willing to wag her tongue even if she risks breaking the “tell no evil” clause in their divorce settlement.  But so far she has nothing bad to say about Donald. Part of that is because it seems she and Tiffany have a close relationship and she doesn’t want to sour it now that Tiffany has become closer to her father and half siblings nor do anything to embarrass her, and it could even be true that Marla still has fond feelings for him.  Of course the other big reason is she doesn’t want to hear from Trump’s lawyers.

Nothing Marla could say could damage Trump... can't be any worse than the stuff he has admitted to.

Yes, an open book, warts and all. The attacks against Trump from the media and demonrats are going to appear weak and spiteful.
