According to another poster here, you've said you'll voter for Hillary if Trump is the nominee.
Which makes Bigun's posts about Trump supporting electing Hillary all the more ridiculous.
Why should I support Trump? Clinton and Trump are both liberals, so why should I vote for the latter just because of an "R" after his name, earned through gutter politics and threats of violence? Clinton's corrupt, but Trump's as much an enabler of cronyism as she is - hell, he's given bucks to her Foundation and spread his mobbed-up lucre around like a pro.
Trump vs. Clinton is a question of the lesser of two evils - and for me, Trump's primary disqualification is his reactionary temperament, fueled by his monstrous ego. He's a classic megalomaniac, convinced of his latent superiority and greatness, who keeps little counsel other than his own. In short, he's a dangerous man with fascist tendencies. I won't be a good German.
I have no desire, of course, to vote for Hillary Clinton. She brings with her a generation or more of liberal hegemony, and voting for her would run directly counter to my self interest. But I have every desire to see Trump and Trumpism defeated, and if voting for Clinton is the vehicle for doing so, I will hold my nose and do what I must do as a citizen. I won't stay home, I won't spit the bit, I won't vote for a vanity candidate if my vote is needed to stop Trump. By doing so, I know the stakes - I will have cast myself adrift from the party I have supported for forty years. But, to paraphrase Reagan, a party that would endorse a con-man like Trump is a party that will have left me.
