You are right. Please let me amend that: You have such a strong record making calls on the trajectory of this campaign so far...

I have made no calls in the trajectory of this campaign either.

Want to try for, maybe, "You have such a strong record in making me stammer for something to trash you with"?

I'll plead guilty to that.

Cruz has accomplished NOTHING in the US Senate except being shown up on his attempt to shut down the government and voted down 98-2 that was intended to be a public rebuke of him by the Senate as a whole.

Ted Cruz works in a body that has no respect for him.

Actually, the reason he is in second in the polls is that Ted Cruz works in a body the Republican voters have no respect for.

You've had such a strong record in making calls on this election so far...

Don't worry, Trump will fade soon. They've been saying that from the day Trump entered the race.

Every time they hyperventilate over Trump's latest gaff, otherwise known as, standing up for America, his polls go up another five or eight points.

If I didn't know better I would swear our friend with the hate on for Donald Trump is actually a paid shill.

In the face of mounting evidence of Trump's staying power he continues to predict, "Don't worry, Trump will soon fade."

Good one...but you have been telling us Trump was crashing and burning for months...and each time you rant about one or another outrage of his, he moves higher in the polls.  In polls of voters in YOUR own party. There is some disconnect happening here.

12% of the Republican voters.  Let's not get carried away.

Sounds like an echo in here except it was Ted Cruz will NEVER EVER beat David Dewhurst!

These aren't all Republicans.  Some are Democrats, some are indies, some are people who sleep on grates at night, others are those who make goats their personal friends.

Trump has a lot of support, but the idea that it's all Republicans is a myth.

I hope that's not a warning.  This thread is very respectful, for the most part, and certainly from me.

However, it is not an attack to say that you have been wrong about Trump from day one.

ANd as an establishment Republican, you're on the wrong side of history, my friend.

aligncare wrote above:
"For every Hispanic Trump losses over immigration, Trump gains an inner city black voter upset about illegals undercutting his wages"

It doesn't matter if Trump loses the overwhelming share of "the Hispanic vote".
(By "overwhelming share", I mean about two out of every three Hispanics voting for the democrats.)

It will make next-to-no difference in the outcome.
But... why is that?

Question:
In which states do most Hispanics live?
(I am referring to LEGAL Hispanic citizens, not illegals)

The Lion's share of them live in states like California, Illinois, New York and New Jersey.
All of which are going to vote democratic, anyway.

I will concede that there's a large number of Hispanic voters in Texas, but like gringo Texans, they tend to be different than Hispanics in other states. Texas Hispanics are more conservative and I sense that a good number of them actually resent the illegal influx. In any case, Texas will vote Republican this time around, regardless.

So -- once again -- IT DOESN'T MATTER how "Hispanics" regard Donald Trump.
It matters more as to where they live.

And at least for now, the demographics are in Trump's favor.

Speaking of Muhammed, my guy Mohammed finished up the granite in the kitchen today.  And he cut the price cuz he took three extra days.

He wished me a Merry Christmas. Imagine that!

I still checked in all the cupboards, though.  And all the dog toys.  No wires, no C4.

Whew.

Well, I've been put in my place. I'm an "establishment Republican."

That is the ultimate insult from the Trumpies.

I don't even know what the hell it means, but, OK, that's me, I guess.

Just like I don't know how "I'm on the wrong side of history" because I don't back Trump.

You sure have a grandiose concept of the place your boy occupies in the grand scheme of things.
