My son has a fawn with black mask and black edges on ears. She's seven years old and the sweetest creature on the planet. Named "Bama", after Patricia Arquette's character in the movie "True Romance".
Just watched/walked her for a week while he was traveling. 
Excellent. We occasionally watch one our kid's fawn Frenchie, especially after we lost our English Bully last October. You are right. I think French Bulldogs are among the most kind, gentle, and docile canines on the planet.
But, I think this break from dog owenership has been a plus, having an additonal bit of freedom. Still, I catch my wife checking sites for pups almost daily. So it may not be this way for too long.
